At LifeSpan we strive to make our equipment easy to assemble and start using. Parts that can be
pre-assembled are always assembled and tested on the production line
Prior to starting the assembly process take all of the parts out of the box, remove plastic bags and lay the
parts out on the oor to become familiar with the components.
Since this desk can be heavy, it is recommended that you use two people during assembly and follow these
assembly instructions to reduce any problems that could occur.

Assembly and Attachment
A. Fully assemble the DT-5 or DT-7 prior to
assembling and attaching the Alliance Desk.
Remove the “LifeSpan” placard from the lift
frame upright (1) from the side of the desk
you are assembling the Alliance Desk to.
B. Using the six M8*10L bolts (5) and M8 washers
(6), three on each side, found in the hardware
bag, attach the two support brackets (2) as
shown. There are three dierent mounting
heights (29 in/74 cm, 30 in/76 cm, 31 in/79
cm). Choose the same mounting height for
both sides and tighten the support brackets
to the lift frame uprights (1).
Suggestion: Loosely install the lower bolt rst
before installing the upper two bolts.
C. Lay the desktop (3) upside down so the frame
is facing up and install the leg (4) to the
desktop with the four M8*16L bolts (7) and
M8 washers (6) pre-installed in the desk.
D. Position the two DT-5’s or DT-7’s the Alliance
Desk is being attached to so there is a gap of
approximately 16 in/41 cm between the two
support brackets.
E. Set the frame of the Alliance Desk into the
support brackets (2) and line the attachment
holes up on both sides. Install the two M8*45L
carriage bolts (8), M8 washer (6), and M8 lock
nut (9) pre-installed in the frame
F. Adjust the height of the leg (4) installed in
step C. There is a set screw (10) located at the
top of the leg that needs to be loosened in
order to adjust the leg height. Once adjusted
so that the desk is level, tighten the set screw.
