SOFTWARE OPERATIONS
Browser Control for MA-725F/MM-700F
1. Browser Control Outline
1.1. General Description
The browser Control feature allows password protected control of source, volume control and options on either
an MA-725F or MM-700F from a browser on your PC (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
Smartphones (iOS or Android devices) using a browser function are also supported.
Note: When browser control is active, the front panel and any WP-700 AM controllers will be disabled.
1.2. System Requirement
Any PC or MAC with a web browser. Any iOS or Android smart phone.
Firmware update requires a PC running Win 7 or Win 10.
The MA-725F or MM-700F will require the version of firmware (v2.05) or latest
2. Browser Operations
2.1. Browser Access Page
Point your browser to the mixer’s default IP address of 192.168.14.1 (first make sure your computer’s IP
address is in the same range as the mixer 192.168.14.xxx). The default user name is “admin”. The default
password is “admin”.
NOTE: IF YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO THE DEFAULT IP ADDRESS, YOU MAY NEED TO UPDATE THE
SYSTEM FIRMWARE. REFER TO SECTION 3 INSTRUCTIONS ON PAGES 5 AND 6 OF THIS
DOCUMENT.

2.2. Operations
This is the mixer’s landing page for the URL. It allows control of source selection and volume.
To get to the options menu, click on the Gear icon at the top
right of the screen as indicate round mark in red color.

2.3. Control Center
Allows the user to turn Browser Control On or Off using the green “LED”. Green indicates Browser
control is on. Grey indicates Browser control is off.
Volume and zone selection are also possible from this window.

View or change the unit’s IP address and view Firmware version

2.5. Password Setting
Up to 6 digits (Letters and numbers only. No special characters)

2.6. Browser Control Release
To return control to the wall controllers or front panel, hold down Input Select buttons 1-4 on
Zone 1 for more than 4 seconds.

3. How to Update MA-725F/MM-700F Firmware
Connect a straight Ethernet cable from your Windows PC to the MA-725F/MM-700F and turn
the MA-725F/MM-700F Off.
Push and hold the Input 1 select switch on Zone 1
Restart the MA-725F/MM-700F. When the Power LED starts flashing, release the input 1 select switch.
You will see the Firmware Upgrade Tool. Click on the executable file and run the program.
Press the “Connect” button to start communication with the MA-725F/MM-700F.
Press “Load New FW” and select updating new firmware.
Press “Upgrade Firmware” button to start the firmware update.
If the update is successful, your screen will resemble the
illustration to the right. >>
Turn the MA-725F/MM-700F Off.

Push and hold the input select switches 2 and 3 under Zone 1 and restart the MA-725F/MM-700F.
The default IP address of the unit has been changed to 192.168.14.1.
Use this IP address to reconnect to the MA-725F/MM-700F through your browser.

PAGING OPERATIONS
Selectable Paging Function by RM-9012C
4. Selectable Paging
4.1. General Description
The paging function feature is able to broadcast the paging from RM-9012C to selected zones by zone
keys of RM-9012C using special cables between MA-725F and RM-9012C.
Note :
Paging function is available from the firmware version 3 or later.
Firmware version 3 or later have a possibility to select operation modes, either normal
operation mode or paging operation mode.
Paging operation mode has functional limitations from among the normal operation mode
instead of realizing the paging functions.
It is required to prepare the special cables to connect the RM-9012C and MA-725F.
4.2. Features
Possible to broadcast the paging to selected zones from RM-9012C
Up to 2 RM-9012C are able to connect to MA-725F
Up to 2 WP-700 are able to connect to MA-725F
Web-browser function are also available.
4.3. Firmware Updating
The procedure of firmware updating is same as section 3 “How to update MA-725F/MM-700F Firmware”.
4.4. Select the Operation Mode
Depends on your application, you can select the operation mode either normal operation mode or
paging operation mode by following procedure after updating the firmware to version 3 or later.
4.4.1. Turn the power of the unit OFF.
4.4.2 Hold the input select key 3 on output CH4.

4.4.3 Turn the power of the unit ON.
4.4.4 All of LEDs in front of the MA-725F will blink 3 times than reset Start the paging operation mode
In order to switch back to the normal operation mode, you follow 4.4.1. – 4.4.3. again.
Then all of LEDs in front of the MA-725F will blink 6 times than reset Start normal operation mode
4.5. Connection
4.5.1 Cable preparation to connect RM-9012C and MA-725F
In order to connect RM-9012C and MA-725F, following cable should be prepared.

4.5.2 Connection of RM-9012C
Up to 2 RM-9012C are able to connect to a MA-725F as below.
Audio Line of Mic.1 should be connected to the connector H/C/E of PRIORITY 1 input,
and also RJ45 connector should be connected to REMOTE CH1.
Audio Line of Mic. 2 should be connected to the connector H/C/E of PRIORITY 2 input,
and also RJ45 connector should be connected to REMOTE 3.

Note :
Position of DIP SWs 1-4 for PRIORITY 1 and 2 are ignored
Position of DIP SW 6 for PRIORITY 1 and 2 should be OFF (Line) as audio output from
RM-9012C is Line level.
In case the switch PRIORITY MIX 1+2 is OFF, the behavior is same as normal mode.
(Audio signals of PRIORITY 1 and 2 are not mixed)
In case the switch PRIORITY MIX 1+2 is ON, always audio signals from PRIORITY 1 and 2
are mixed.

4.5.3 Connection of WP-700
Up to 2 WP-700 are able to connect to a MA-725F as below.
WP-700 should be connected to REMOTE CH 2 or CH4.
WP-700 unit 2 WP-700 unit 1
Note :
Regardless the position of the switch REMOTE LINK, it works as ON permanently.
(CH1 and 2 are always linked, same as CH3 and CH4)
4.6. Operation
Following shows the using keys of RM-9012C. Details are written on the manual of RM-9012C.
