Precautions on handling the battery
• This unit has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. (11.1V/6.0 Ah)
• Do not use the battery in a closed room or near fire.
• Charge the battery under the charging condition specified.
• If any corrosion of the terminals, leakage, or deformation of the case of the battery is found, do
not use the battery.
• If the battery leaks, while protecting your hands or clothing, remove the battery from the device
and should be extremely careful not to infect the skin or eyes.
• If the battery leaks and the liquid inside spills on the skin or clothing, immediately wash it off with
plenty of clean water. If the liquid splashes into eyes, immediately flush the eyes with plenty of
clean water and consult a doctor.
• Avoid mixed usage of batteries differing in type, manufacturer or history of use.
• Do not throw the battery in fire nor heat the battery.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, remodel or destroy the battery.
• Do not place the battery near a child.
• The battery is a component which after some time of usage loses its capacity, so it is important to
take good care of it. The warranty for the battery is of 6 months since it is a component that is
limited to a maximum cycle of charges.
Charge fully before storing a battery which has not been in use for a long period and turn
ON/OFF switch off.
Charging the speaker
• Connect the AC adaptor input connector to your speaker.
• Plug in the AC adaptor into the wall outlet.
• The battery indicator LED light will turn red indicating the battery is being charged.
• Once the battery is fully charged, the LED light will turn blue.
• Disconnect the AC adaptor and start using your speaker with the batteries.
NOTE
:
Make sure to charge your speaker only when the battery is completely drained out.
Do not charge the battery when it is still charged as this would cause the battery lifetime to
decrease.
IMPORTANT:
The maximum power output will be lower when the built-in battery is running low.
In an extremely cold or hot environment, charging stops for safety. If charging takes a long
time, it also makes charging of the speaker stop. To resolve these issues, disconnect the
supplied AC power cord (mains lead), and then connect it again within an operating
temperature between 5 °C and 35 °C (41 °F and 95 °F).
