Installing the secondary pulley(s)
Example Installation Fig.1
The Secondary Pulley should be directly above the
Primary plate as shown - use the ANGLE plate to
mount the Pulley in-line with the BELL
Ensure the CORD will run directly horizontal to the
top of the BELL arm. Secure the Pulley to the Angle
Bracket using the machine screw required. Fix the
ANGLE BRACKET to the wall. Feed the CORD
around the Pulley and from there to the next pulley,
if required, or directly to the top of the BELL arm.
Fig 1
Example installation Fig.2 & Fig.3
The Secondary Pulley(s) should be mounted in-line with
the BELL position.
Various other installations are possible to cover
corners/reveals etc. Fit the BELL via the back plate to the
wall in the desired location – ensuring the cord travels on
straight to the Bell Fig 3.
Secure the Cord to the Bell Arm
Ensuring that the Cord is taut, feed the cord through
the eyes at the top of the Arm and tie a knot, so that
the correct tension is available for operation.

Trouble Shooting:
If after completing the above instructions, a poor ringing sound is the result, ensure:
• The Cord is not wrapped around each pulley one complete turn
• The Cord is not tight between each pulley
• There isn’t enough tension on the cord to pre-load the inner spring.
