Roller shade must be fully Installed and chain operational

before Safety Shield can be installed.

Refer to the different roller shade installation instructions.

With #6 Screw provided fasten the Safety Shield to the inner wall of the window frame (Fig. 1 & 2). Ensure the

chain can move freely through the Safety Shield. The Safety Shield should be snug but not to tight against the wall

surface.

With one hand raise the Safety Shield tube up and operate the roller shade up or down (Fig. 3 & 4). When finished

operating, place the Safety Shield tube inside holder "The Safe Position" (Fig. 5).
