frontspringarm,butsavethespacerandthepivot
arm.
3.RemovetheHOCplatesanddiscardthem.
4.InstallthenewHOCplates.
5.Installanewfrontspringarm,shimwasher,anda
spacerontoeachpivotarmassembly.
Note:Applyanti-seizecompound(505–18)tothe
outerdiameteroftheshoulderonthenewshoulder
bolts.
6.Slidethenewshoulderboltthroughthepivotarm
assembly.
7.Slideanewthickwasheroneachshoulderbolt.
8.Installeachpivotarmassemblyontothemower
housing.
Note:Torquetheshoulderboltto300–375in-lb.
9.Installthewheelswiththehex-headboltsthatyou
removedinstep1.
Note:Installthewheelswiththerimnutsonthe
outside.
Note:Torquethewheelhexheadboltsto250–400
in-lb.
10.Installtheknobontoeachspringarmsothatthe
cuppedsideistowardthemowerhousing.
