1. ALWAYS wear safety gear appropriate to tools being used.
2. Eye protection should be used at all times. Failure to use protective eye gear can result in serious injury.
3. Always insure you have ample space to operate power tools with complete control of the power tool.
4. Note: The Soft Close Mechanisms come installed on the tracks.
INSTALLING THE SOFT CLOSE MECHANISM**
5. Mark holes on the track by placing the soft closer in the desired
location centered between the existing holes on the track.
6. The soft closer should be placed flush with the bottom of the track.
7. Drill holes with 5/32” drill bit.
8. Install soft close on back side of track with bolt on outside of track,
soft closer on inside against track and flat nut on the very inside edge of the track.
9. Soft closer should be mounted with the angle portion pointed to the outside, non-close direction
INSTALLING THE KEEPERS
10. Follow all instructions for installation of your Barn Door
11. Move doors to desired center, leaving a 1/32” gap.
12. Place the Soft Close Keeper on top of the RH door as shown in figure
and mark through the door keeper slots.
13. Remove door and drill 1/16” pilot holes where marked.
14. Mount Soft Close Keeper.
15. Repeat for LH door
16. Re-install doors.
