BEFOREINSTALLINGTHEAPPLIANCE
Beforeconnectingyourappliancetothepowersupply,checkthatthevoltagestatedontheratinglabel
ofyourappliancecorrespondstothevoltageinyourhome.Adifferentvoltagecoulddamagethe
appliance.
Theplugistheonlywaytounplugtheapplianceandshouldthereforebeaccessibleatalltimes.Toturn
offmainpowertotheappliance,turnitoffandthendetachtheplugfromtheoutlet.
Theappliancemustbegrounded.Themanufacturerisnotresponsiblefordamagesthatmayoccurasa
resultofusagewithoutgrounding.
INSTALLATION
Installtheapplianceinadry,wellventilatedroom.Theinstallationlocationshouldneitherbeexposedto
directsunlightnornearaheatsource,e.g.acooker,radiator,etc.
Toensureadequateventilationfortheappliance,allowaminimumof10cmofairspaceoneachsideof
thecabinet.
Forunevensurfaces,frontfeetcanbealigned.
AMBIENTTEMPERATURE
Thisapplianceisdesignedtooperateinambienttemperaturebetween10°Cand38°C.Ifthese
temperaturesareexceeded,i.e.colderorwarmer,theappliancewillnotoperatecorrectly.Ifthe
ambienttemperaturesareexceededforlongperiods,thetemperatureinthefreezercompartmentwill
riseabove‐18°C andfoodspoilagemayoccur.
BEFOREPLACINGFOODINTHEAPPLIANCE
Removeallpackaging.
Allowtheappliancetorunemptyfor23hourssothecompartmentscancooltotheappropriate
temperature.
Cleantheinsideoftheappliancewithwarmwaterandalittleliquiddetergenttoremove
manufacturingandtransportationdust.
POWERFAILURE
Ifthereisapowerfailure,donotopenthefridgedoor.Frozenfoodshouldnotbeaffectedifthepower
failurelastsforlessthan21hours.
Donotrefreezefro zenfoodsthathavethawedcompletely.Thefoodmaybedangeroustoeat.

ADJUSTINGTHETEMPERATURESANDFUNCTIONS
Aftertheapplianceispluggedintothemainssocket,thedisplaywillilluminate.
ThesmartECOfunctionwillbeactivatedandtheindicatorlight( )willilluminatefora
while.
Whendisplayindicatorlightsgoout,openthefridgedoororpressanybuttonandthentheindicator
lightswillilluminateagain.

Settingthetemperaturesoffridgeandfreezercompartments
MakesurethesmartECOfunctioniscancelled(seetheinstructiononhowtocancelthesmartECO
functioninthesectionofSmartECObelow).
1. Tosetthetemperatures,pressFridge/Freezeronce.
Thetemperaturewillflashonthedisplay.
2. Whilethetemperatureisflashing,repeatedlypressFridge/Freezertoselectthedesiredtemperature.
Thetemperatureofthefridgecompartmentcansetbetween2°Cand8°C.
Thetemperatureofthefreezercompartmentcanbesetbetween‐24°Cand‐16°C.
3. PressOKtoconfirm.
Ifnobuttonispressedwithin5seconds,thetemperaturewillstopflashing,indicatingthe
temperatureisset.
Whenthefridgecompartmentissettothe“OFF”setting,thefridgecompartmentwillstopcooling.
SmartECO
1. RepeatedlypressFunctionuntilthe correspondingindicatorlight( )flashesonthedisplay.
2. Whiletheindicatorlightisflashing,pressOKtoconfirm.
Thelightwill stopflashing,indicatingthesmartECOfunctionisactivated.
Thetemperaturesinthefridgeandfreezercompartmentswillbe4°Cand‐18°Crespectively.
NOTE:Thetemperaturescannotbeadjustedwhenthefunctionisactivated.
Tocancelthisfunction

Fastcooling
Thefastcoolingfunctioncanbeusedtorapidlyreducethetemperatureinthefridgecompartmenttoits
lowestsetting.
Itisrecommendedtousethisfunctionforthefasterchillingoflargeamountsoffreshfoodordrink.

Theindicatorlightwillstopflashing,indicatingthefastfreezingfunctionisactivated.
Thetemperatureofthefreezercompartmentwillshow‐32°C.
Thisfunctionwillbeautomaticallycancelledafter26hoursofoperationorafterthesmartECOfunction
isactivated.
Tomanuallycancelthisfunction
1. RepeatedlypressFunctionuntilthefastfreezingindicatorlightisflashingonthedisplay.
2. Whiletheindicatorlightisflashing,pressOK.
Theindicatorlightwillgoout.
Thetemperatureofthefreezercompartmentwillreturntoitsprevioussettings.
Vacationfunction
Thisfunctionisrecommendedwhentheappliancewillnotbeusedforalongperiodoftime(during
vacationsforexample).
Withthisfunction,theappliancewilloperateineconomicalmode.
NOTE: Before activating vacation function, remove perishable foods from the fridge
compartment and
close the fridge door. It is not necessary to remove foods from the freezer
compartment.

Fridgedooropenalarm
Whenthefridgedoorisleftopenornotclosedcompletelyforabout3minutes,theappliancewi llsound
analarm.Closethefridgedoortostopthealarm.
Youcanalsopressanybuttontotemporarilystopthealarm.Afterabout3minutestheappliancewill
soundanalarmagain.

Overtemperaturealarminthefreezercompartment(onlyincaseofpoweron)
Aftertheapplianceispoweredon,ifthemeasuredtemperatureinthefreezercompartmentishigher
than‐10°C,themeasuredtemperatureofthefreezercompartmentwillflashonthedisplay.
Pressanybuttonorwaitforabout5secondstomakethetemperaturestopflashing.Thetemperatureof
thefreezercompartmentwillreturntotheprevioussetting.
Errorcodes
Whenanerroroccursintheappliance,thedisplaywillshowthecorrespondingerrorcode(e.g.E0,E1,
E2,etc.).Pleasecontactthelocalauthorisedservicecentre.
MOVINGYOURAPPLIANCE
Iftheapplianceisturnedoffforanyreason,waitfor10minutesbeforeturningitbackon.Thiswillallow
therefrigerationsystempressurestoequalisebeforerestarting.
Turnofftheapplianceandunplugitfromthemainssocket.Removeallfood.Alsoremoveallmobile
parts(shelves,accessories,etc.)orfixthemintotheappliancetoavoidanyshock.
Relocateandinstall.Iftheappliancehasbeenleftonitssideforanylengthoftime,leaveitstanding
uprightforatleast10minutesbeforeturningon.
Yourapplianceusesisobutane(R600a)asarefrigerant.AlthoughR600aisanenvironmentallyfriendly

Thisapplianceisequippedwithafrostfreesystem.
Thissystemenablesthefreezercompartmenttoremainpermanentlyicefree,however,thefoodstored
inthefreezerdrawerswillnotdefrost.

Forthemostenergyefficientuseofyourappliance:
Ensureyourappliancehasadequateventilationasrecommendedintheinstallationinstructions.
Allowwarmfoodanddrinkstocooldownbeforeplacingintheappliance.
Thawfrozenfoodinthefridgecompartmentandusethelowtemperatureofthefrozenfoodto

Keepdooropeningstoa minimum.
Opentheapplianceasbrieflyaspossible.
