SAFETY INFORMATION

The procedures and precautions contained in this manual are understood to apply to

the machinery only when it is used in the authorised manner

If the machinery is used other than in the authorised manner, the operator will be

responsible for his/her own safety and for the safety of the other persons who may

be involved.

Many accidents are caused by insufficient knowledge and failure to apply the safety

regulations which should be implemented during the operation, cleaning and

maintenance of the machinery.

To prevent accidents, read , understand and follow all the precautions and warnings

contained in this manual before starting work and carrying out any of the

cleaning/maintenance operations.

To identify the safety messages in this manual, the following symbols have been

used

WARNING!

The " Warning" symbol is found primarily where

the corresponding warnings are important for the

safe use of the machinery

This symbol is used when there are risks of an

electrical nature (Prior to servicing the machinery ,

always disconnect the power cable from the mains

supply)

Liability

Installations and repairs which are not carried out by Authorised technicians or the

use of other then original spare parts , and any technical alterations to the

machine, may affect the warranty set out in the standard conditions of sale.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The NCM10 mixer is designed to mix food products as per specification chart ,

standing on a standard height worktop. The HSM10 is manufactured from an

aluminium alloy casting with a plastic moulded top cover and stainless steel back

panel . All with a metallic paint finish. The NCM10 is manufactured from an

aluminium alloy casting with a plastic moulded top cover and steel back panel . All

with a Hobart grey paint finish.

The standard machine is set to operate on a 230v/50/1 supply, and is fitted with an

NVR safety feature to prevent automatic restarting after a supply

failure/disconnection. The bowl support has an electrical interlocked so that when

the bowl is in the down position the machine will not work.

The mixer is supplied with a plug (which conforms to BS1363) and a 13A fuse,( UK

only).

INSTALLATION

This machine must be installed in accordance with current

regulations by a qualified persons.

Carefully unpack the machine. Do not use a sharp knife to cut into

the box as damage to the machine may occur.

Place the mixer in it's correct operating position, which should be

firm and level

Ensure that the electrical supply agrees with the machine

specification, prior to connection

If machine fails to operate, please check the following points:-

That the bowl support is in the up position

Check the mains fuse (13A)

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The following instructions must be observed when using the mixer.

NEVER

· attempt to reach into the bowl when mixing

· fit agitator to mixer without bowl

· leave agitator on machine without bowl being fitted

· run mixer with both attachments or agitator fitted

· Leave gear lever in mid position

· Use gear to stop machine

· Use guard to stop machine

· Use bowl lift handle to stop machine

· Use machine in an unsafe condition

ALWAYS

· Always Disconnect the mains supply and clean mixer daily

· Remove Agitator before using any attachments

· Stop mixer before adding more ingredients

· Use stop button to stop machine

· Clean the bowl and agitators after use

· After daily use disconnect mains power supply or switch off isolating switch.

Clean mixer using mild soap and water, never scouring powder

· Ensure mixer is subject to regular servicing ( Recommended twice yearly)

The machine should only be used for the design purposes and

inline with the supplied operating instructions

DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED MIX QUANTITY

Overloading the mix can be detrimental to the quality of the finished product and

affect the life expectancy of the machine. Always refer to the mixing chart

When mixing ingredients care must be taken to avoid the inhalation

of dust particles e.g. Flour. Reference should be made to the

product suppliers data sheets to ensure that adequate

precautions/protection are taken.

Items such as flour should be added in such a manner to avoid dust

particles being dispersed into the local atmosphere.

OPERATION

This machine is only for professional use by suitably trained

persons.

Ensure that the machine is switched off (1)

Lower bowl support (2) by using the

hand lever (3)



Place the required agitator in the bowl (7) 5 6

and lift bowl onto the bowl support (2).

Place the splash shield in position on the

bowl. The shield is designed not to be 4

removed with the bowl in the raised position.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE 8

SHIELD DURING MACHINE OPERATION

Ensure that the bowl is correctly positioned

and engaged on the location pins of the 2

bowl support.

If the splash shield is used , place the shield

in position on the bowl

Slide the agitators on the shaft (8 ) turning

to engage the drive pin in the "L" slot 7

Add ingredients to the bowl and raise the

bowl by hand lever (3)

(NOTE. An electrical interlock is fitted to the bowl support to prevent accidental starting

when bowl is in the down position)

Select speed (4) and set timer (5) if fitted.

Setting Timer a) Non-timed operation- Set Timer to the “HOLD” position

b) Timed Operation - Turn timer past position “3” and then set

to desired time

Start machine by pressing start button (6)

When mixing is complete:-

Stop machine using Stop button (1)

Lower bowl support. Remove agitator from shaft

Remove bowl and agitator from mixer to empty

CLEANING

DO NOT HOSE OR PRESSURE CLEAN THIS MIXER

DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE CLEANERS

Ensure that the machine is disconnected from the main electrical

power supply prior to cleaning

Note: Do not clean aluminium agitators in a dishwasher

Clean the mixing bowl and agitators with hot water, a suitable non

abrasive detergent and soft bristle brush. (Flushing the bowl with hot

water immediately after use will ease the cleaning of the bowl)

Clean the mixer with a hot damp cloth, thoroughly wipe the bowl arms

and all exterior surfaces.

MAINTENANCE

The motor and transmission are packed with special grease, which will last for

several years. When replacement is needed, contact your local service centre.

The bowl support rods should be lubricated occasionally with a small amount of

light oil applied with the fingertip, to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation

It is recommended that the mixer is serviced regularly (recommended

twice yearly)

commencer tout travail/toute opération de nettoyage et d'entretien.

Le signe "Attention" apparaît principalement

lorsque des règles

importantes de sécurité doivent être observées pour

une utilisation de la machine en toute sécurité.

débrancher le câble électrique de l'alimentation

GÉNÉRALITÉS

Le mélangeur NCM10 a été conçu pour mélanger les produits alimentaires spécifiés

dans le tableau ci-après ; il doit être placé sur une surface de travail à une hauteur

standard. Le mélangeur HSM10 est en fonte d'aluminium, avec un couvercle moulé

en plastique et un panneau arrière en acier inoxydable. Il est recouvert sur toute sa

surface d'une peinture métallique. Le mélangeur NCM10 est en fonte d'aluminium,

avec un couvercle moulé en plastique et un panneau arrière en acier inoxydable. Il

est recouvert sur toute sa surface d'une peinture gris métallisé Hobart.

La machine standard fonctionne avec un courant d'alimentation 230 V/50 H/1 A. Elle

est munie d'une fonction NVR de sécurité pour l'empêcher de redémarrer

automatiquement après une panne/interruption de courant. Le support qui maintient

le bol possède un mécanisme de verrouillage électrique réciproque pour empêcher

la machine de démarrer lorsque le bol est dans la position basse.

LE NIVEAU DE BRUIT DES MACHINES est inférieur à 70 db (A)

INSTALLATION

Cette machine doit être installée conformément aux

réglementations en vigueur et par des personnes compétentes

qualifiées.

Déballer la machine avec précaution. Ne pas utiliser un couteau

pointu pour couper le carton afin de ne pas endommager la

machine.

Placer le mélangeur dans la position de fonctionnement correcte,

sur une surface plane et ferme.

Avant de brancher la machine, s'assurer que l'alimentation

secteur est la même quecelle spécifiée sur la machine.

Si la machine ne fonctionne pas, vérifier que :

Le support qui maintient le bol est dans la position haute

Vérifier le fusible de secteur (13 A)

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

Suivre attentivement les consignes suivantes lors de l'utilisation du

mélangeur :

NE JAMAIS

· Essayer de mettre les mains dans le bol quand la machine est en marche

· Fixer l'agitateur sur le mélangeur sans avoir d'abord mis le bol

· Laisser l'agitateur sur la machine quand il n'y a pas de bol

· Faire fonctionner le mélangeur sans un des deux accessoires ou l'agitateur

· Laisser la manette de vitesse dans la position moyenne

· Utiliser la manette de vitesse pour arrêter la machine

· Utiliser le capot de sécurité pour arrêter la machine

· Utiliser le levier à main de levage du bol pour arrêter la machine

· Utiliser la machine dans des conditions dangereuses

TOUJOURS

· Débrancher le câble d'alimentation secteur et nettoyer le mélangeur

quotidiennement.

· Enlever l'agitateur avant d'utiliser les accessoires

· Arrêter le mélangeur avant d'ajouter d'autres ingrédients

· Utiliser le bouton d'arrêt pour arrêter la machine

· Nettoyer le bol et l'agitateur après leur utilisation

· A la fin de la journée, toujours débrancher le câble d'alimentation secteur ou

mettre le sectionneur hors circuit. Nettoyer le mélangeur avec de l'eau et un

savon doux et ne jamais utiliser de poudre abrasive.

· S'assurer que le mélangeur est régulièrement entretenu (fréquence

recommandée : deux fois par an).

La machine ne doit être utilisée que pour les usages auxquels elle

est destinée et conformément aux consignes d'utilisation du

fabricant

· La farine à teneur élevée en gluten réduit la pâte obtenue de 25 %.

· S'assurer que l'outil correct est utilisé.

NE PAS DÉPASSER LA QUANTITÉ MAXIMALE DE PRODUIT SPÉCIFIÉE

Si la quantité maximale spécifiée est dépassée, la qualité du produit fini risque d'être

moins bonne et la durée de vie de la machine peut être affectée. Il est donc

recommandé de toujours se référer au tableau des capacités.

Lorsque le mélangeur fonctionne, faire particulièrement attention

d'éviter de respirer les particules de poussière pouvant provenir,

par exemple, de la farine. Il est impératif de consulter les fiches

d'information données par les fournisseurs sur leurs produits pour

s'assurer que les mesures de sécurité/protection adéquates sont

prises.

Les produits tels que la farine doivent être ajoutés de manière à éviter la propagation

de particules très fines dans l'atmosphère des locaux.

FONCTIONNEMENT

Cette machine est réservée à un usage professionnel et ne doit être

utilisée que par un personnel formé compétent.

S'assurer que la machine est hors circuit (1)

 

Abaisser le support (2) du bol avec le levier à main (3)



Placer l'agitateur requis dans le bol (7)

et mettre le bol sur le support de bol (2).

 

Mettre l'écran anti-éclaboussures correctement

sur le bol. L'écran a été conçu pour ne pas

pouvoir être enlevé avec le bol dans la position

haute.



NE PAS ESSAYER D'ENLEVER L'ÉCRAN

PENDANT LE FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA MACHINE



S'assurer que le bol est placé correctement

et qu'il est fermement maintenu par les goujons

de serrage du support du bol.



Si l'écran anti-éclaboussures est utilisé, le

placer correctement sur le bol.

Glisser les agitateurs sur l'axe (8 ) en les faisant tourner pour engager le pion

d'entraînement dans la fente "L".

Ajouter les ingrédients dans le bol et faire monter le bol avec le levier à main (3).

(NOTE . le support du bol est muni d'un mécanisme de verrouillage électrique

réciproque pour empêcher la machine de démarrer accidentellement lorsque le

bol est dans la position basse).

Sélectionner la vitesse (4) et, le cas échéant, régler la minuterie (5).

Réglage de la minuterie a) Fonctionnement sans minuterie - Régler la minuterie

sur la position "HOLD".

b) Fonctionnement avec minuterie - Tourner la

minuterie jusqu'après la position “3” et régler ensuite

sur le temps voulu.

Faire démarrer la machine en appuyant sur le bouton de démarrage (6).

Une fois le mixage terminé :

Arrêter la machine en appuyant sur le bouton d'arrêt (1).

Abaisser le support du bol. Enlever l'agitateur et mettre dans le bol.

Enlever le bol avec l'agitateur pour le vider.

NETTOYAGE

NE PAS NETTOYER LE MÉLANGEUR AU JET OU A L'EAU SOUS PRESSION.

NE PAS UTILISER DES PRODUITS NETTOYANTS ABRASIFS.

S'assurer que le câble d'alimentation de la machine est débranché au niveau de la

prise de courant avant toute opération de nettoyage.

Note : Ne pas nettoyer les agitateurs en aluminium dans un lave-vaisselle

Laver le bol et les agitateurs à l'eau chaude avec un détergent

approprié non abrasif et une brosse à poils doux. (Le bol se nettoie plus

facilement s'il est immédiatement rincé à l'eau chaude après usage).

Nettoyer le mélangeur avec un chiffon doux humide, puis essuyer soigneusement

les bras de support du bol et toutes les surfaces externes.

MAINTENANCE

Le moteur et la transmission ont été graissés avec une graisse spéciale qui doit

durer plusieurs années. Quand un graissage devient nécessaire, contactez votre

centre de maintenance local.

Les tiges de support du bol doivent être régulièrement graissées en appliquant une

petite quantité d'huile avec le bout du doigt pour empêcher toute corrosion et assurer

un fonctionnement sans problème.

Le mélangeur doit être vérifié régulièrement (fréquence de

maintenance recommandée : deux fois par an).
