attheinstrumentsaretrueindicationsoftheboatspeed.
Speedtransducerperformanceisaffectedbyitspositionand
water-owcharacteristicsatdifferentspeeds.Itisadvisabletocarry
outcalibrationatvariousspeedsacrosstherangeofyourboat.
Calibratingspeed(conventionaltransducers)
Youwillneedanaccuratespeedoverground(SOG)value,e.g.
determinedfromaGPSconnectedintoyourSeaTalksystem.
Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspacetomaneuver
unhindered.

YouwillneedanaccurateSpeedoverground(SOG)value,e.g.
determinedfromaGPSconnectedintoyourSeaTalksystem.
Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspacetomaneuver
unhindered.
Conditionsshouldbecalmwaterwithaslacktide.
Note:Itisimportantthatthereisnotide.Theaffectoftidal
