ResMed Air10 SD Card Data Transmitter

The ResMed Air10 SD Card Data Transmitter is a medical device that allows you to download data from your Air10 CPAP or AutoSet CPAP machine to an SD card. This data can then be reviewed by your doctor or other healthcare provider to help them assess your sleep therapy progress.

The Air10 SD Card Data Transmitter is easy to use. Simply insert an SD card into the transmitter and then connect the transmitter to your CPAP machine. The transmitter will automatically download the data from your CPAP machine to the SD card.

Once the data has been downloaded to the SD card, you can remove the card from the transmitter and insert it into your computer. You can then view the data using the ResScan software, which is available for free from ResMed.

For patients
1 Establish secure patient communication portal*
2 Remove SD card from the device
3 Insert SD card into SD card reader
4 Click on the Attach Files icon
5 Locate the SD card drive from the list on the left-hand side
(may be named “RESMED”)
6 Select:
• SETTINGS folder
• Identification.crc
• Identification.tgt
• STR.edf
• Identification.json (Air11 only)
• journal.jnl (Air11 only)
7 Right-click the selection and choose
8 Send To > Compressed (Zipped) Folder
9 You may rename or accept the default file name
10 Select the compressed zip file (e.g. TestPatient.zip)
11 Attach compressed file and send secure message to the provider
communication portal
For providers: HME/PHYSICIAN
Important: Before downloading the data onto the SD card, ensure
that the SD card is blank.
1 Insert blank SD card into SD card reader
2 Open secure patient communication portal
3 Open patient message with attachment with patient’s data
4 Select the attached file, click on Save As and save file to the SD card
from the list on the left-hand side
5a Right-click the compressed file and choose Extract All
5b Select your SD card drive as the Destination Folder
• Remove any default folder information and only use the drive (e.g. E:\)
6 Open AirView™ or ResScan™ and download card data as normal
