Satco TP170 Operating instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the SATCO conduit live end connectors TP203, TP169, and TP170. This document outlines the process for connecting the connector to a track lighting system. I can help answer your questions about polarity, lead connections, and the device's power specifications.
  • How does the conduit live end connector work?
What do I need to do to make the connection with proper polarity?
Where should I connect the Load Lead (L)?
Where should I connect the Neutral lead (N)?
The conduit Live end connector
Electrifies the track from the end of
the run to a conduit pipe, Romex or
Bx connector.
Please make sure the conduit connector is connected
to polarity, matching the side of the connector that has the
two contacts (Per image #1 the with the 2 small Red
arrows) with the side of the track that has the groove on
one side of the track (See Large Arrow)
Connect the Load Lead (L) to the Brass Screw Terminal.
Connect your Neutral lead (N) to the Silver Screw Terminal.
