INTRODUCTION
Grab your guitar, join the band and rock out, Bratz Kidz™ style! This glam guitar really plays
music! Push the frets, strum the strings and move the whammy bar to make your own music!

Guitar Features
Your Bratz Kidz™ 4 You Music Stars Guitar
is made up of the following:
a. Realistic Guitar Strings. (Fig. 2)
b. Whammy Bar. (Fig. 2)
c. Volume Control Knob. (Fig. 2)
d. 6 “Frets” that play Realistic Guitar notes.
(Fig. 2)
e. Guitar Strap. (Fig. 2)
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn the Volume knob clockwise to increase volume.
Set the volume to a comfortable listening level.
PLAYING YOUR GUITAR
The real fun begins when you take to the stage and
belt out some awesome tunes with your guitar!
Strings:
To get one of three groovy rhythm guitar sounds,
press down on any two of the following strings with
your finger: (Fig. 3)
• Strings 5 and 6 • Strings 4 and 5
• Strings 2 and 3 • Strings 1 and 2
The batteries included in your Bratz Kidz™ Music
Stars Guitar are for in-store demonstration. It is
recommended that, prior to playing, fresh alkaline
batteries be installed for best performance.
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) unscrew
and remove the battery door located on the back of
the guitar. (Fig. 1)
2. Insert 3 x AA (1.5V) ALKALINE batteries with the
positive (+) and negative (-) ends facing in the proper
direction as indicated inside the battery
compartment. (Fig. 1)
3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.

SAFE BATTERY USAGE
FCC COMPLIANCE
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life
• Use only the type battery recommended for the unit.
• Batteries should be replaced only by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity ( + and – ).
• Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• When not used for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent possible
leakage and damage to the unit.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may leak or explode.
NOTE: The voltage of a fully-charged, rechargeable battery is often lower than that of a fresh
alkaline battery. Therefore, it is recommended that alkaline batteries be used instead of
rechargeable batteries for best performance and for longest play time.
The batteries included in your guitar are for in-store demonstration. It is recommended that, prior
to playing, fresh alkaline batteries be installed for best performance.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and,
if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio

GUITAR STRAP SAFETY
The guitar strap features a breakaway buckle that will open if pressure is applied to the strap.
This is a safety feature to prevent entanglement and possible injury. Do not modify or replace
the strap in any way.
If the guitar strap does come apart, just press the two ends of the buckle back together and
they will snap into place.

• If pressing on the strings produces no sound, make sure of the following:
o Do not wear gloves or other hand coverings.
o Do not use a foreign object like a guitar pick.
o Make sure that you are not touching a metal surface.
o If your skin is dry, try rubbing a small amount of hand lotion into your hands.
• If the guitar sounds become weak or fail to work, replace the batteries with fresh alkaline
batteries.
• If you do not plan on playing with your Bratz Kidz™ 4 You Music Stars Guitar for long periods
of time, remove the batteries to avoid possible leakage and damage to the guitar.

• DO NOT swing, throw or drop your Bratz Kidz™ 4 You Music Stars Guitar.
QUICK START (con‛t)
As you press down on different strings, the rhythm guitar sounds will alternate.
NOTE: Pressing down on Strings 4 and 3 will not produce any sounds, neither will pressing a
single string or strings not next to each other, (i.e. Strings 1 and 3).
Frets:
On the guitar neck are 6 buttons that
are called “frets”. The frets play six
different guitar notes. The frets are
numbered 1 to 6 with fret number 1
being furthest away from the guitar
strings. (Fig. 4)

Whammy Bar:
Push down on the Whammy Bar to produce an
awesome guitar solo that will rock the house!
To stop, let go of the whammy bar and it will
snap back into place. (Fig. 5)
SLEEP MODE
If your guitar is not played for 20 seconds, it
will go into “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery
power. To turn it back on, just press the
strings, frets or the whammy bar.

Here are some really cool songs that you can play on your guitar, just follow the keys below:
NOTE: Try playing the three songs below to help you get comfortable playing the guitar.
After that, try playing the last song “Almost Classical” and see if you can add some flair with
the guitar strings and whammy bar!
