1. Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing your new device. You have chosen a
high-quality product. This document is an integral part of this product. It
contains important information on safety, operation and disposal. Be-
fore using the product, please familiarise yourself with all safety instruc-
tions. Only use the product as described and for the specified appli-
cations. Keep all documents in a safe place. If you give this product to
third parties, ensure that you also hand over all the documents.
Read all documents included with this product completely to ensure cor-
rect and full use of the device.
2. Proper use
The neckband speaker is an entertainment electronics de-
vice.
The neckband speaker is used to play back audio materi-
al that can be played via Bluetooth. In addition, the neck-
band speaker can also be used as a hands-free set. Only
use the device in accordance with the operating modes
specified in these instructions.
The device is only intended for private use and not for
industrial/commercial use.
Note that no liability will be accepted if the device is not
used for its intended purpose:

3. Safety information
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – READ CAREFUL-
LY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
Keep the device and its accessories out of the reach of
children.
This device can be used by children aged 8years and
above, by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or people who lack experience
and/or knowledge, if proper supervision is provided
or if these people have been instructed in how to use
the device safely and have fully understood the possi-
ble dangers.

The neckband speaker must be checked for damage
before using the device for the first time and after each
use.
Do not use the neckband speaker if it is damaged, gen-
erates smoke or emits unusual operating noises.
Stop using the neckband speaker immediately and im-
mediately disconnect it from the connected USB cable
(if present):
if the neckband speaker produces unusual noises or
smoke;
if the neckband speaker is damaged by a liquid or high
moisture levels;
in emergency situations.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play
with this device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out
by children.
Do not store any of the packaging material used (bags,
polystyrene, etc.) within the reach of children.
Do not let children play with the packaging. Packaging
material is not a toy.

Do not modify the device without our express agree-
ment and do not use any accessories that have not
been supplied or approved by us.
Only use replacement parts or accessories that we
have supplied or approved.
Comply with all the information in these operating in-
structions, especially the safety information. Any other
use is considered improper and can cause personal in-
jury or property damage.
Do not use the device in potentially explosive atmos-
pheres. This includes petrol stations, fuel storage are-
as and areas where solvents are processed. This device
must also not be used in areas with particle-laden air
(for example flour or wood dust).

3.1. Handling the rechargeable batteries
The neckband speaker is powered by a built-in recharge-
able battery.
Please note the following:
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of explosion if rechargeable
batteries are handled incorrectly.
Do not throw the device into a fire, and do not short-cir-
cuit it or dismantle it.
The neckband speaker should not be left unattended
while it is being charged.
The rechargeable battery is an integral component of
the device, which means users cannot replace it them-
selves.
Do not cover the neckband speaker while the battery is
being charged.
The battery may only be charged in a dry environment.

Do not charge the battery for longer than 24 hours.
3.2. Water spray protection
The neckband speaker is protected against water spray
from all sides according to protection class IPX4.
Do not use the neckband speaker under water.
3.3. Additional safety instructions
If the device has been moved from a cold room to a
warm room, wait before using the neckband speaker.
The resulting condensation may damage the device. The
device can be operated safely as soon as it has reached
room temperature.
Do not expose the neckband speaker to direct heat
sources (e.g. radiators).
Never expose the neckband speaker to excessive heat,
such as direct sunlight, fire or similar.
Do not operate the neckband speaker below 0 °C or
above 45 °C, and do not store it below 0 °C or above
60 °C.

3.4. Bluetooth connection
A Bluetooth
®
connection is an unencrypted wireless
data transfer system which is unprotected against unau-
thorised third parties.
3.5. Never carry out repairs yourself
Never, under any circumstances, attempt to open and/
or repair the neckband speaker yourself. There is a risk
of electric shock! Internal components may only be in-
spected, modified and repaired by qualified personnel.
Take the product to an authorised service centre for in-
spection.

6. Before using the device for the fi rst
time
6.1. Charging the neckband speaker
Remove the neckband speaker from the packaging.
Ensure that all packaging materials have been removed.
Open the micro-USB compartment and connect the neckband
speaker to a USB power supply with an output current of at least
1000 mA using the supplied USB cable.
As soon as the neckband speaker is connected to a power source, the
built-in rechargeable battery begins charging automatically.
The battery charging time is about 3 hours.
The charging LED lights up red during charging.
The charging LED goes out as soon as the built-in battery is fully charged.
The operating LED flashes slowly if the battery charge level is
too low and the battery needs to be charged.
Remove the USB cable and close the micro-USB compartment as
soon as the battery is fully charged.
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Risk of damage to the device due to impro-
per use of the device.
Do not use a standard USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port, such
as on a PC or notebook, to charge the device. Only
use an external USB power supply with an output cur-
rent of at least 1000mA.

7. Switching on the neckband
speaker and connecting via
Bluetooth
®
7.1. Switching on the neckband speaker
Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds until the neckband
speaker is switched on and an acoustic signal sounds.
The neckband speaker switches on with an acoustic signal and the op-
erating LED starts flashing red rapidly.
7.2. Connecting the neckband speaker via
Bluetooth
®
Using Bluetooth, you can receive audio signals wirelessly from an exter-
nal Bluetooth-enabled audio playback device. Please note that the two
devices may not more be than 10 metres apart.
You can only connect one Bluetooth device to the neckband
speaker.
If you have not already done so, switch on the neckband speaker.
Enable Bluetooth
®
on your audio playback device and select Blue-
tooth device SNL 15 A1.
Now pair and connect your Bluetooth-enabled playback device to
the neckband speaker.
The operating LED stops flashing as soon as an audio playback device
is paired with the neckband speaker.
After switching on, the neckband speaker will search for the audio play-
back device last connected. If possible, the neckband speaker will auto-
matically restore this connection.
The operating LED flashes white rapidly.
Once the speaker is paired, the LED lights up white.

ating instructions for the relevant audio playback device.
7.3. Connecting a new device via Bluetooth
To connect a new device to the neckband speaker, briefly press the
- and + buttons.
The neckband speaker switches to Bluetooth pairing mode.
If pairing is not successful within 10 minutes of switching on,
the neckband speaker will automatically switch off.
8. Operation
The buttons on the neckband speaker can be used to control audio
playback or accept/decline incoming calls.
8.1. Controlling audio playback
Briefly press the button again to pause playback.
Briefly press the button again to resume playback.
Press and hold the + button to play the next track.
Press and hold the - button to play the previous track from the be-
ginning again.
8.2. Setting the volume
Briefly press the + button to increase the volume.
Briefly press the - button to reduce the volume.
8.3. Setting a sound profi le
As soon as you switch on the neckband speaker, the music sound pro-
file is active.
Briefly press the
button repeatedly, as listed in the table, to
"scroll" through the following sound profiles.

8.4. Hands-free calls
When the neckband speaker is connected to a mobile phone via Blue-
tooth
®
you can take incoming calls and use the neckband speaker as a
hands-free system.
Briefly press the button to accept an incoming call.
Press and hold the button to reject an incoming call.
Press the button twice in succession to select the previously se-
lected telephone number again.
8.5. Enabling voice assistant
When the neckband speaker is connected to a mobile phone via Blue-
tooth
®
you can enable the voice assistant on your smartphone using the
neckband speaker.
Press and hold the button to enable the voice assistant.
An acoustic signal sounds, the voice assistant is enabled and now re-
sponds to your voice commands.
The functionality of the voice assistant depends on the smart-
phone used and cannot be guaranteed.

9. Switching off the neckband
speaker
Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds to switch off the
neckband speaker.
The neckband speaker switches off with an acoustic signal and the op-
erating LED goes out.
10. Storing the device when not in use
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Risk of damage to the device due to im-
proper use of the device.
Fully charge the neckband speaker every 2 months to
avoid damage to the battery.
11. Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly, please refer to the troubleshooting
table shown below to see if you can resolve the problem yourself.
Never attempt to repair the device yourself. If a repair is necessary,
please contact our Service Centre.

Do not immerse the neckband speaker in water. Do not
allow water to enter the neckband speaker.
