The Kramer VP Series scaling presentaon video switchers can be controlled with Mira Connect™, Aveo Systems’ smart
control appliance.
To integrate the Kramer VP Series with Mira Connect, add a Kramer Video Switcher
to the room in Mira Portal (hps://mira.aveosystems.com), select the model, and
enter the IP address of the system and press ‘add equipment’. Mira Connect will
connect to the Kramer VP Series and, if the IP address is valid, Mira Portal will show
the equipment status as a green circle once the Kramer VP Series device has been
validated on the network.
Important informaon about the integraon is summarized below.
Control Interface
The Kramer VP Series is controlled via TCP over port 5000.
Mira Connect switches audio and video together (audio follows video) when changing video inputs to outputs.
Models Supported
VP-778, VS-622DT, VP-558, and VP-445. Addional VP series products can be supported.
Soware Versions
Tested with a VP-778 with device rmware v3.00.07.36759
Conguraon Steps
On the Mira Portal Video Inputs tab, enable the desired inputs on the video switcher, and enter labels and oponal
descripons, to create the video display menu for source selecon.

When connecng an output from a video switcher to a display, add the display to your equipment and for the desired
input on the display, select ‘Use Sources Connected to Other Equipment’ and then select the video switcher and the
desired output from the video switcher that is connected to that input on the display. The display menu shown on Mira
Connect will show the dened inputs from the video switcher.
