3.After the spray arms stop working, you can open the door

4.Add forgotten dishes.
5.Close the door
6.Press the Start/Pause Button, the dishwasher will run
after 10 seconds.
Turn on the water tap and press the Start/Pause Button. The machine will start working
after about 10 seconds.
Close the door, press the program button until the selected programme lights up.

1. A running cycle can only be modified if it has been running for a short time. Otherwise the detergent
may have already been released and the water already drained. If this is the case, the detergent
dispenser must be refilled.

The water softener is des igned to remove minerals and salts from t he water, which would have
a detrimental or adverse effect on the operation of the app liance.

Adjusting Salt Consumption
The dishwasher is designed to allow for adjustment in the amount of salt consumed bas ed on the ha rdness of
the water used. This is intended to op timise and customise the level o f salt consumption.
WATER SO FTENER
The hardness of the wa ter varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits will
form on the dish es and utensils.
The applian ce is equipped with a sp ecial softener that uses a salt container specifically designed to eliminate
lime and minerals from the water.
Contact your local water board for information on the hardness of your water supply.
If your model does not have any water softener, you may skip this section.

Before using you r dishwasher for the first time:
A. Set the water softener
B. Add 1.5Kg dishwasher salt and then full fill the salt con tainer with water
C. Fill t he rinse aid dispenser
D. Fill i n detergent
Please follo w the steps below for adjustm ent in salt consumption.
1. Switch on the appliance;
2. Pres s th e Start/ Pause butto n fo r more than 5 secon ds to start the water
softener setting mode (to be done within 60 seco nds after th e applia nce is s witc hed on;

1. The salt container must only be refil led when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on.
Depending on how well the salt dissolves, the salt warning light may still be on even though the
salt container is filled.
If there is no salt warning light in the control panel (for some Models),you can estimate when to fill
the salt into the softener by the cycles that the dishwasher has run.

(e.g. Dishwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent). Th is would damage the app lian ce.

The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dis hes, which can
leave spots and streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dishes. Your d ishwasher i s
design ed to use liquid rinse ai ds. The rinse aid dispenser is located on t he door next to the detergent dispenser.
To fi ll the dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level i ndicator turns completely
black. The v olume of the rinse aid container is about 110m l.
To open the dispenser, turn the cap to the "open" (left) arrow and lift it out.
Careful ly pour in the rinse-aid into it s dispenser, whilst avoid ing it to overfl ow.
Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with "open " arrow and turning it to the closed (right) arrow.
Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser
The rinse aid dispenser has six or fou r s etting s. Always st art with the dispenser
set on "4". If spot s and poor drying are a problem, increase the amount of rinse
aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to "5". If the
dishes still are no t drying properly o r show spots, adjust the dial t o the next
high er lever until your dishes are sp ot-free. The recom men ded setting is "4".
(Factory value is "4".)

Based on their chemical com position, detergents can be split in two basic types:
Dete rgent tablet s of diffe rent brands disso lve at different speeds. For t his reason some
detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop the ir full cleaning power during short
programs. Therefore please use l ong programs wh en u sin g deterg ent tablets, to
ensure the complete removal of detergent residua ls.
The dispenser must be re filled before the star t of each wash cycle following the instructions
provided in the wash cycle table . Your dishwa sher uses less de tergent and rinse aid than
Conventional dis hwa sher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for
a normal wash load. More heavily soiled items need more detergent. Alway s ad d the
detergent just be fore starting the dishwasher, otherwise it coul d get damp and w ill not
dissolve properly.

Normally new pulverised detergent is with out phosphate. T hus the water softener fu nction of

often white spots appear on dishes and glasses. In this case please add more detergent to reach
better results. Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. S trong and coloured spots wil l not
be removed completely. In this case please choose a program with a higher temperature.

6. Starting a Washing Program
Soak
When the working cycle has finished. Turn off the appliance using the O N/O FF button, shut off the wa ter supp ly
and open the door of the dishwasher. Wait for a few minutes before unloading the dis hwasher to avoid handling
the dishes and utensils while they are still hot and more suscep tible to break. They will also dry better.
