Crestron SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 helps prepare for the installation of SAROS_IWLCR52 speakers by marking the desired cutout location prior to wall surface installation. Description

The Crestron

SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 is designed to be

attached to the studs of a wall or ceiling prior to

installation of drywall, in preparation for the installation

of SAROS_IWLCR52 speakers (sold separately).

Installation

Whether mounted horizontally or vertically, the

SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 is intended to mark the desired

cutout location prior to wall surface installation.

Speaker wiring can be afxed to the

SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 with a wire tie for easy retrieval

once the wall surface is installed.

Horizontal Orientation

The SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 ts into a wall with standard

16" center-to-center stud spacing. In this orientation

there are four countersunk mounting holes for

attachment to the studs with drywall screws (not

included).

Vertical Orientation

The SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 is supplied with two wings

to facilitate vertical orientation. The wings snap into the

SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52, and have mounting holes that

accommodate framing with a spacing of 10" (minimum)

to 24" (maximum).

Score marks in two places allow the length of the wings

to be decreased. In addition, the top and bottom tabs

can be used to fix the SPKA-NCTP-IWLCR52 in place if

horizontal framing (blocking) is provided.
