INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SLIMLINE AND HI VOLUME SUCTIONS
Make sure mounting surface is flat. The suction cover and fitting must sit flush with the mounting surface to prevent any 1.
gaps between the cover and the wall. Gaps between the cover and the wall will create hair entrapment hazards.
After selecting a flat mounting surface that will accommodate the fitting you have chosen, use the proper size hole saw
to cut/drill the hole.
RECOMMENDED HOLE SAW SIZES

The gasket, if used, must be installed on the outside surface of the spa / tub. Make sure the sealing and mounting 2.
surfaces are smooth and flat to provide for safety and a good seal.
Before installing the fitting in the hole you cut in step 1, apply silicone, which is compatible with ABS and PVC plastic, to 3.
the threads and the back of the flange. This will help seal the wall fitting and nut against the spa/tub wall.
Install the fitting in the hole and tighten nut. Nut should be no more than hand tight - DO NOT over tighten. Never 4.
exceed 8 foot pounds of torque when installing fitting.
Install cover on fitting as described. 5.

Screw the suction cover with the threaded adapter into the wall fitting until the adapter hits the stop at the
bottom. The cover will lock automatically when fully tightened.

Screw the suction cover with the threaded adapter into the wall fitting until the adapter hits the stop at the
bottom. Place locking screw through hole provided in face of cover. Tighten until cover is secure.
NOTE: BE SURE COVER IS SECURE. DO NOT OPERATE PUMP IF COVER IS LOOSE, MISSING, DAMAGED OR NOT
MOUNTED ON A FLAT SURFACE.

Lift the latch at the side of the cover while rotating counter clockwise. Rotate cover counter clockwise until
it is free from fitting.

Remove locking screw. Rotate the cover counter clockwise until it is free from fitting.

WITH A MARKED FLOW RATE IN GALLONS PER MINUTE THAT EXCEEDS THE FLOW RATE OF YOUR SYSTEM BY
AT LEAST 25%.
ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE SUCTION OUTLETS. IF THE FITTING/COVER BREAKS, IS DAMAGED, OR
