INSTRUCTION MANUAL
I
This color camera uses high sensitive l/3interline transfer CCD imag
sensor (CCD = Charge Coupled Device), and all state circuitry which
provides extremely long life and high reliability. This camera offers
excellent image quality with low lag and high bum resistance. and is
not subject to distortion from magnetic fields .
High resistance to shock and vibration , easy to install , this camera is
very good choice for your color CCTV system.

CAUTIONS ON HANDLING
(1) Be careful , never let any water in this equipment..
(2) Do not directly .touch the CCD element.
If necessary , use a
soft cloth moistened with alcohol to wipe off the dust.
(3) When any abnormalities occur, make sure to unplug the unit
and contact your local dealer.
CAUTIONS ON INSTALLATION
( 1) Be extra careful not to shake the camera.
(2) Avoid places where there is direct sunlight.
(3) When using this camera in places where the lighting differs
greatly, please use the auto iris lens with ND filter.
(4) Avoid places where temperatures exceed 50°C or more t
high humidity or where direct rain drops hit.
(5) Avoid places where there is frequent vibrations or shocks.
(6) Ifduring the night, the minimum brightness of 0.5 Lux cannot
be achieved , install appropriate light fixtures.
(7) When the camera is not used , keep the lens or the lens cap
attached to protect the CCD sensor.
(8) Use individual power supply for proper operation . Javelin
model #PS 1824 or equal. Connect power cable to camera
prior to power source.

(I )Remove the cap cover from the top of the lens mount.
(2) If CS mount lens is used , also remove the C mount ring.
(3) Screw the lens into the lens mount Rep: I.
(4) Connect the video output Rep:4 to the monitor or other video
device through a 75 Ohms type coaxial cable.
(5) Connect the power Rep:7 source. AC with the power cord.
(6) Once the picture appears on the monitor, adjust the focus and
iris of the lens to obtain the best picture.
(7) If the subject is not in correct focus when adjusting focus of
the lens, do back focus, adjust as follows:
1:
Set the focus ring of the lens to indefinite position.
II- Take picture of subject at a distance more than 20 m away
III- Loosen the mount lens fixing screw Rep:2 (use L wrench).
IV- Turn the lens and the mount lens together so the subject
is in the focus and the picture is clear.
V- Screw the mount lens fixing screw.
(8) When using an auto iris lens , connect the enclosed miniature
4 pins plug following the diagram and plug the connector
into the socket Rep:6. When using an auto iris lens, the switch
Rep:5 should be in OFF position. When using a manual lens ,
this switch should be in ON position.
(9) Mount the camera on the mounting bracket with a l/4-20 screw.

(8) When using an Auto Iris Lens, before plugging in the enclosed
miniature 4 pins connector, please check the type of Auto Iris Lens,
and also the compatibility on the polarities. The Switch @should
be in position OFF. If the Auto Iris Lens is DC DRIVE or DIRECT
DRIVE, the Switch @should be in position DC DRIVE. Adjust the
level with the VR @. If the Auto Iris Lens is VIDEO DRIVE, the
Switch dD should be in position VIDEO DR. When using a Manual
Iris Lens, the Switch.6) should be in position ON, and the Switch dD
should be in NO USEposition.
