Installation Instructions

Stylistic LT C-500

In order to ensure compliance with the pertinent RF

emissions limits governing the Stylistic LT pen tablet,

shielded interconnect cables must be used.

To meet FCC Class B limits, ferrite cores must be added

to the RJ-11 and the microphone cables when they are

connected to the Stylistic LT C-500. The ferrite core

should be installed adjacent to the end of the cable that

attaches to the system.

To install the core, open it up so that it lies flat (see

Figure 1). Lay the modem or microphone cable into

one of the channels in the open core. The cable should

be positioned so that it is as close as possible to the

connector that enters the pen tablet.

Holding the cable in place, snap the core around the

cable. Figure 2 illustrates the closed ferrite core

without a cable inserted. The illustration may differ

slightly from the ferrite core delivered with your

system.
