DEFINITIONS
MOUNTING SYSTEM: A MOUNTING SYSTEM is the
primary Chief product to which an accessory and/or component
is attached.
ACCESSORY: AN ACCESSORY is the secondary Chief
product which is attached to a primary Chief product, and may
have a component attached or setting on it.
COMPONENT: A COMPONENT is an audiovisual item
designed to be attached or resting on an accessory or mounting
system such as a video camera, CPU, screen, display,
projector, etc.
WARNING: A WARNING alerts you to the possibility of
serious injury or death if you do not follow the instructions.
CAUTION: A CAUTION alerts you to the possibility of
damage or destruction of equipment if you do not follow the
corresponding instructions.

installer’s responsibility to make sure all accessories are
properly assembled and installed using the instructions
provided.

Exceeding the weight capacity can result in
serious personal injury or damage to equipment! It is the
installer’s responsibility to make sure the combined weight of
all components located on the PAC910 does not exceed 25 lbs
(11.34 kg).
WARNING: Use of this accessory will decrease the weight
capacity of the mounting system to which it is attached by the
combined weight of the accessory and all components
supported by this accessory. See Figure A for reference.

INSTALLATION
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO
EQUIPMENT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute
hardware! Use only hardware provided by manufacturer.
WARNING:
Exceeding the weight capacity can result in
serious personal injury or damage to equipment! It is the
installer’s responsibility to make sure the combined weight of
all components located on the PAC910 does not exceed 25 lbs
(11.34 kg).
IMPORTANT ! : The PAC910 is designed to be mounted onto
the PRSU Series stand.
Shelf Installation
1. Loosen thumb nuts on bracket beneath PAC910 shelf (A).
(See Figure 2)

2. Remove bracket assembly from back of PAC910 shelf by
sliding downward and away from shelf. (See Figure 2)

3. Thoroughly loosen, but do NOT remove, knobs on bracket
assembly. (See Figure 3)

NOTE: It is important to attach the bracket assembly in the
order noted in Steps 4 - 6. Ensure that knobs are
thoroughly loosened.
4. Attach LEFT SIDE of bracket assembly to PRSU column by
ensuring that back of bracket is inserted into edge of column
and front of bracket rests against front of PRSU column.

5. Attach RIGHT SIDE of bracket assembly to PRSU column
by shifting right back bracket and right knob, as necessary,
to allow tight attachment. (See Figure 4)
6. Be sure that RIGHT knob is shifted all the way to right, and
then tighten RIGHT knob FIRST, followed byLEFT knob to
complete attachment of shelf bracket. (See Figure 4)

7. Lower shelf from above the bracket assembly, hooking two
tabs on back of shelf into two slots in top of bracket
assembly. (See Figure 5)
8. Tighten thumb nuts in bracket assembly to complete
installation of the shelf to the PRSU column.

CAUTION: This shelf is intended for use with components
weighing not more than 25 lbs (11.34 kg) and having
dimensions that will permit it to sit evenly on this shelf. Use
with other equipment may result in instability causing
possible injury.
Installing Safety Strap
1. Place equipment on shelf (A).
2. Thread strap (B) through slots on underside of shelf (A).
(See Figure 6)

3. Loop strap (B) over top of equipment and slide strap end
into clasp. (See Figure 7)

4. Pull strap (B) until tight around equipment and press clasp
closed to secure. (See Figure 8)

Cable Management
1. Follow cable management instructions included in the
PRSU installation instructions.
2. There are also attachment points on the back of the
PAC910 that allow further cable management using the
included zip ties (C). (See Figure 9)
