Quick Start Guide

The AC-EXUSB-2-KIT is a simple solution

for extending USB 2.0. This product

features bi-directional POE and is

capable of sending 4 devices using a

full 480Mbps signal up to 100 meters

over traditional cat 5e to a single host.

This low cost solution is an easy way to

bring back necessary USB 2.0 cameras,

microphones, and HID devices allowing

connectivity to a single device.

setup

1. Connect up to 4 USB 2.0 Devices to the AC-EXUSB-2 DEVICE USB Type A

Device ports.

2. Connect the AC-EXUSB-2 DEVICE to the AC-EXUSB-2-HOST using Cat 5e or

better.

3. Connect the AC-EXUSB-2-HOST to PC or similar

device using the USB Type B Host port.

4. Connect power to preferred side to provide power

to both devices.

Troubleshooting

• No Video from USB Camera – Ensure USB Camera is not USB 3.0. If two

or more USB 2.0 Cameras they may exceed bandwidth together. A lower

resolution may have to be used.

• No KVM extension – Ensure that the USB Host is securely connected.

• No POE – Try power at other end. Ensure no the Category run has not been

damaged
