PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seetheimportantnotesabove.Shutoffthepoweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletely

removetheoldxturefromthewall,includingtheoldmountingstrap.

Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrapassembly.Oneendofnipple(C)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasherand

hexnut(DandE)inplace.Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxusingmountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);

groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsare

inthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(F)onmountingstrap(A)

andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(F).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(F)ontothemounting

bracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

Placethexture’sbackplate(G)overnipple(C)sothatitprotrudesthroughtheholeinthefrontofthebackplate.Threaddeconuts(H)

ontonipple(C).Twistuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall.

Slideglass(J)oversocket(I)andsecureinplacewithspacer(K)andsocketring(L).

Installlightbulb(M-notincluded)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
