This manual describes in details the structural characteristics, operation methods, and maintenance
specifications for this series passenger vehicle. Carefully reading this manual can enable you to
appropriately use and maintain your vehicle, ensure your safety, and better feel the driving pleasure.
This series passenger vehicle conforms to Chinese Stage-IV emission regulation.
Due to different designs and configurations of the vehicle models, some devices, equipment, or functions
described herein may not be incorporated on certain vehicle model. All items other than the standard
configuration are marked with “Optional”.

Chapter I Safety System
I. Opening and Locking
System
1.1 Key and remote controller
Every passenger vehicle is
attached with one set of keys,
namely convention key and
remote control key, as shown in
the figure.
The keys are applicable for
all locks on the vehicle,
including ignition lock and door
lock.
If the vehicle is not fitted
with PEPS, the key as one part
of the remote control lock
transponder can be used for
ignition lock and door lock.
Upon receipt of the vehicle
keys, a key number plate will be
provided, which is the DNA of
the keys. When it’s necessary to
match new keys, this key
number shall be provided. At
ordinary times, preserve the
number plate at a safe place. In
addition, write down the number
of the number plate and properly
preserve in an easily accessible
place. However, do not preserve
within the vehicle.
When it’s necessary to
match keys, please contact the
sales and service shop of Haima
Car Co.,Ltd with the presence of
the key number plate.
For remote control key, to
unlock, lock, or start the vehicle
with key, press the button 1 to
unfold the key and press this
button to manually fold the key.
The remote control key can
be used to unlock and lock all
doors and liftgate lock (Tip:
Please properly preserve your
keys and key number plate).
1.1.1 Use of keys

The left front door can be
unlocked or locked with key
from outside of the car.
When all doors are closed
tightly, insert the key into the
left front door lock cylinder and
rotate clockwise to unlock four
doors and counter-clockwise to
lock four doors.
There is a lock button on
the top of the inner handle for
each door, which is functioned
for control of door lock. When
four doors are completely closed,
press the front end of lock
button on the driver side to lock
all doors and rotate the front end
of lock button on the driver side
to unlock all doors. The lock
button on the other doors can
only lock and unlock
corresponding door.
If it’s difficult to rotate the
key within the door lock, check
the key teeth for presence of
fragmentation and periodically
clean with brush.

handle, and then close the door
to lock the front doors from the
outside.
Press the front end of lock
button and close the door
(without pulling the door outer
handle) to lock the rear doors
from the outside of the vehicle.
The driver door can be
locked with key from outside of
the car. When locking the driver
door with key with four doors
completely closed, the system
will automatically lock all doors.
When unlocking the driver
door with key, all doors will be
unlocked automatically.
Rear door child lock
The rear door child lock is
functioned to prevent the
accidental opening of door by
child sitting in the rear seat. This
child lock shall be used while
there is child sitting in the rear
seat.
When the child lock is
shifted to position “LOCK”, the
door can’t be opened from the
inside, no matter which position
the door lock button is placed.
The door can be opened only by
the outer handle from the
outside of the vehicle.
Notice:
Opening the door during the
traveling of the vehicle is
extremely dangerous. If there is
child passenger sitting in the
rear seat, please make sure to
use child lock.

While using the remote
control key, please press the
buttons slowly and accurately.
Failure of remote control
key
Notice:
Before the vehicle is completely
stopped, do not press the
unlocking button of the remote
control key, in order to prevent
the unlocking of doors from
causing accidents.
The transponder is probably too
far from the vehicle.
The signal is probably
obstructed by other vehicle or
obstacle.
It’s probably interfered by other
external radio signals.
The power of transponder
battery is depleted or low.
The remote control function is
disabled when the ignition key is
inserted into the ignition lock.
Locking with remote
control key
Press the button
of
remote control key to lock all
doors. In such case, the left and
right turn signal lamps flash
once.
Unlocking with remote
control key
Press the button
of
remote control key to unlock all
doors. In such case, the left and
right turn signal lamps flash
twice.

If the button of
remote control key is pressed
when a door or the liftgate is
open, four doors will be locked
and then immediately unlocked.
In such case, the turn signal
lamps flash for three times and
the horn sounds once.
Secondary locking
If there is no action within
30s after the button
on the
remote control key is pressed,
the doors will be locked
secondarily and the turn signal
lamp will flash once.
Vehicle locating function
When the vehicle is locked
and the ignition key is not within
ignition lock, press the button
of remote control key for
more than 2S to start the vehicle
locating function. During the
vehicle locating, press the button
of remote control key to
deactivate the vehicle locating
function.
Opening of liftgate
To open the liftgate from
the inside of vehicle, press the
button
on the drivers left
switch block.
To open the liftgate from
the outside of the vehicle, press
and hold the button
of
remote control key for 3s or
press the liftgate opening button
beneath the license plate.
Under power-off status of
the vehicle, it can escape from
the vehicle by opening the
liftgate via internal mechanical
switch. The mechanical switch
of liftgate lock is located in the
middle lower portion of the
liftgate trim panel. Pry open the

emergency cover plate
and pull the opening arm of
liftgate lock to open the liftgate.
Remote central control
Protection
It will be considered as
malicious operation if the
buttons
and of the
remote control key are pressed
for 10 times within 30s and the
remote central control protection
function will be activated
automatically. In such case, only
the vehicle locating function is
still operational. Rotate the
ignition switch to position “ON”
or wait for 60s to deactivate the
remote central control
protection.
Unlocking at turnoff of
ignition switch
The central control lock will
unlock once when the engine is
stopped, the vehicle speed is less
than 5km/h, all doors are under
locked status, and the key is
rotated from ON to OFF.
Central control
Press the central control
lock switch to control the
locking or unlocking of four
doors. If any door is not
completely closed during the
locking, the four-door lock
button will lock once and then
unlock.
Vehicle speed dependent
locking (optional)
At the 4S shop, select the
ON/OFF of vehicle speed
dependent locking function by
means of diagnostic
configuration. The default status
is OFF.
When the vehicle speed
dependent locking function is
turned on, four doors will be
automatically locked if four
doors are completely closed and

the vehicle speed exceeds
20km/h during the traveling of
vehicle.
If the vehicle is stopped
with the engine running during
the traveling and the central
unlocking function is operated,
all doors will be automatically
locked after the vehicle speed
exceeds 20km/h.
Appropriate use of remote
control key
The remote control key can
function effectively only within
10m radius of the vehicle.
However, the remote control
capability will change along
with the external environment of
the vehicle and operation angle.
Avoid pressing the locking and
unlocking buttons frequently.
When the LED indicator lamp
becomes dark or the range of
remote control is shortened
gradually, it indicates that the
battery is insufficient in power
and shall be replaced with new
one.
Tip:
The appropriate use of
remote control key can not only
ease the operations, but also
prolong the service life of
remote control key. Ensure the
appropriate use and proper
preservation.
Notice:
The radio frequency used
by the remote control key is
probably subject to the
interference just like did for
other short-range radio emitters
(such as amateur radio players,
medical devices, radio
interphones, other remote
controls, and alarm systems),
which will cause the failure of
locking and unlocking by remote
control key or the setup failure
of alarm. However, the vehicle
