Quick User’s Guide
The On/Off button with AUTO Stand-by function
The Stand-by function automatically deactivates the appliance to decrease energy consumption when:
Before you press Start/Pause button, if
you do not use the appliance for about
ve minutes. All settings are cancelled.
Press On/Off button to activate it
again.
After 5 minutes from the end of the
washing programme. Once activated
the appliance, the display shows the
end of the cycle.

Indicator bars:
The empty indicator bars come
on when the related functions are
available with the set programme. In
setting mode they fi ll accordingly to
the function availability.
I The DRYNESS LEVEL symbols
According to the set automatic level of
dryness one of the 3 available symbols comes
on.
J The TIME DRY
This symbols comes on when you set drying
time.
K The DETERGENT OVERDOSING
L TIME SAVE
The symbol comes on when you set one of
these functions:
Shortened duration
• Extra quick
M EXTRA RINSE
The symbol comes on when this function is
activated. The indicator bar fi lls accordingly
to the number of extra rinses set.
N INTENSIVE/PREWASH
The symbol comes on when this function is
activated. The indicator bar fi lls accordingly
to the set function.
The PROPORTIONAL wash
The appliance adjusts automatically the cycle
time to the laundry load to have PERFECT
washing results in the minimum necessary time.
After about 15 minutes from the start of the
programme, the display shows the new time
value.
Start The Appliance
1. Activate the drain system: put 2 litres of
water in the main wash compartment of the
detergent dispenser.
2. Put a small quantity of detergent in the
main wash compartment of the detergent
dispenser.
3. Set and start a programme for cotton at
the highest temperature without laundry to
remove all possible dirt from the drum and
the tub.
Before First Use
Daily Use - Washing
1. Press On/Off button to activate the
appliance.
2. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at
a time. Make sure not to put too much
laundry in the drum and that no laundry
stays between the seal and the door.
3. Put the detergent and additives in the
correct compartment of the dispenser.
Close the door.
4. Turn the programme knob to set a
programme. The programme indicator goes
on.
5. The display shows the default temperature,
maximum spin speed and the empty
indicator bar of the available functions. To
change the default values or to set functions
press the corresponding buttons.
6. If necessary, set the delay start function.
7. Press Start/Pause button to start the
washing programme. Press this button also
to interrupt it.
8. At the end of the programme the display
shows a zero
. The indicator of the Start/
Pause button and the door lock symbol go
off. If you set the Rinse Hold function, you
must drain the water in the drum before
opening the door. For more information
refer to “At the end of the programme”
chapter in the user manual.
Daily use - Drying
Open the water tap. Put the drain hose in
the sink or connect to the drain pipe.
1. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a
time. Close the door.
2. Turn the programme knob to set a drying
programme suitable for your laundry. The
programme indicator comes on.
3. For an automatic drying press DRYNESS
LEVEL button to set one of the automatic
dryness level.
The extra dry level for cottons
The store dry level for cottons and synthetics
The iron dry level for cottons and synthetics
4. For a timed drying press TIME DRY button
to set the drying time you wish. The display
shows:
The drying symbol
The anti-crease symbol
The drying time symbol
Drying time value
5. Press Start/Pause button to start the
programme. Press this button also to
interrupt it.
6. At the end of the programme the display
shows a zero
, the indicator of the Start/
Pause button goes off. When the door lock
symbol disappears from the display, you can
open the door.
