Adds two 16650 UART serial ports and one EPP
parallel port to PCI-equipped PCs
Each serial port (one 9-pin & one 25-pin) is
capable of a maximum data throughput rate up
to 460.8 kbps
Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) incorporates Lava’s
PCI Parallel Port technology — capable of data
throughput rates up to 3x faster than ISA

Each serial port includes integrated 32-byte FIFO
buffers with software configurable Rx/Tx triggers,
4x clock, and on-board flow control to guarantee
errorless data transmission even at top speed
Both serial ports share one IRQ — saves valuable
resources for other expansion cards

selects next available IRQ and I/O addresses
Compatible with RS-232 serial peripherals
including 56K and ISDN modems, PDAs, digital
cameras, bar-code scanners, and UPSes
Includes“Lava Com Port Redirect” and
