Did you know that, to avoid possible
electric shock or injury, all electronic
devices should be unplugged and
turned off until all connections have
been made? If you haven’t done this,
please do so for your safety before
starting the installation.

STEP 1: Choose your AV connection type. The
video quality depends on the AV connection. If
your TV supports
• Composite Video, go to 1
• S-Video, go to 2
• Component Video (Y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr), go to 3
• HDMI, go to 4
If you are not sure, please refer to the TV owner’s
manual or choose Option 1
STEP 2: Set up DVD video settings according to
your selected connection.
• Turn on both your TV and DVD player.
• Set the AV mode of your TV to the selected
video mode above. If you are not sure how to
change the AV mode of your TV, please refer to
your TV owner’s manual or call your TV
manufacturer for Customer Support.
If the AV mode of your TV is properly set and
DVD player is turned on, you will see the jWIN
logo on your TV screen. If not, please check all
cable connections and the AV mode of your TV.
Notes: Additional video setup is required for the
HDMI and Component Video connections to get
the best DVD performance. Please refer to the
video output setup instructions in the DVD
manual. For S-VIDEO connection, you don’t need
an additional video setup.
