WELCOME
Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the new Professional
Acoustic System SY-XT80BT “Powergenics” series. Please read this
manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to
the precautions which are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a
safe place for future reference
SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS
Symbol Definitions
DANGER- Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This symbol appears only
in the most extreme situations.
WARNING - Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION- Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not
avoided, may result in minor/moderate injury or
product/property/damage. It also warns against unsafe practices.
Power source
This symbol means that this unit is double
insulated. An earth connection is not required.
The appliance must be connected to a 100-240V 50/60Hz. AC
supply by means of a two flat pin socket.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning, storms or when unused
for a long period of time to prevent damage to the product.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of insulated
‘dangerous voltage’ within the product’s enclosure that may be
of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to
persons.
Warning: to reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove
cover (or back), no user serviceable parts inside refer servicing
to qualified service personnel.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended
to alert the user to the presence of important operating and
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature
accompanying the appliance.
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall
outlets, extension cords, or Integral convenience receptacles.
Use suitable power sources - Plug the product into a suitable
power source, as described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the product.
The supply voltage should be the same as that indicated in the
technical specifications and the appliance rating plate. If the
socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug
supplied with this unit check with a qualified electrician for
replacement.
In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, switch off the outlet and remove the mains plug
completely.
Do not bend, stretch or pull the supply cable in order to avoid
electric shock.
When installed, the power socket must be within easy reach.
Moisture and water
Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture.
Do not use this product near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, wet basement, near a swimming pool or
anywhere else that water or moisture is present.
Heat sources and flames
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sun
or fire.
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall
outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles.
Servicing and repairs
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any ways: such as liquid
has been spilled or objects have fallen into
the apparatus; The apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.
Warning
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong
Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to
resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In case
the function could not resume, please use the product in other
location.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or
operate the appliance.
2) Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings. Follow
all instructions.
3) Save this Instruction Manual for future reference.
4) The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
product. Use dry locations only.
5) No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the
product.
6) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
7) Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings.
8) Ensure that the unit is plugged into an AC 100-240V 50/60Hz power
outlet. Using higher voltage may cause the unit to malfunction or
even fire catching. Turn off the unit before unplugging it from power
source to completely switch it off.
9) Do not plug/ unplug the power plug into/from an electrical outlet with
wet hands.
10) Use replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer.
11) Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
12) Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the speaker on
a flat, hard and stable surface. Do not expose to temperatures above
40°C. Allow at least 30 cm clearance from the rear and the top of the
unit as well as 5 cm from each side.
13) Press the buttons of the unit gently. Pressing them too hard can
damage the unit.
14) Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet
before moving or cleaning. Clean it with dry cloth only.
15) Unplug the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be used
for long periods of time.
16) This product has no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair this
product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform the
service. Contact Sytech technical service for a proper inspection and
repair
17) NEVER let anyone, especially children, insert anything into the holes,
slots or any other openings in the unit’s casing as this could result in
a fatal electric shock.
18) Don’t mount this product on a wall or ceiling.
19) Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that
generate strong magnetic fields.
20) Do not leave the unit unattended when it is in use.
NOTE: To disconnect the system completely if it’s not to be used for a
long time, remove the AC power plug from the wall outlet.
CONTROL PANEL & FUNCTIONS
TOP PANEL
1. MIC1 INPUT: Microphone input.
2. MIC2 INPUT: Microphone input.
3. USB 1: USB charging port 5V-2A.
4. USB 2: USB port for playback.
5. MICRO SD: Micro SD slot for playback.
6. AUX: Auxiliar input.
7. MIC PRIO: Microphone priority.
8. REC: Recording function.
9. MENU: Mic volume, Echo intensity, treble and bass adjustment.
10. LED: Press to turn the LED lights on or off.
11. POWER: Press to turn the power on or off.
12. WIRELESS: Press to connect or disconnect the Bluetooth function.
13. : Press to select the previous track or previous FM station.
14. : In USB/Micro SD mode, press to play or pause a
track. In FM mode long press the button to start the
automatic FM channels search.
15. : Press to select the next track or next FM station.
16. MODE: Press to alternate between Bluetooth, AUX, FM, USB
modes.

Connecting the mains power cable:
1. Insert the power cord into the mains socket at the rear of the
unit. (AC IN)
2. Connect the mains plug to a wall outlet.
3. Set the “POWER” switch to “ON” position. The LED display will
illuminate.
4. Press the “POWER” button on the main unit or STANDBY
button on the remote control to turn on the unit.
Input modes:
Follow the below instructions to switch between Bluetooth, FM radio,
AUX and USB input modes.
1. Press the MODE button on the main unit or on the remote
control repeatedly to cycle between Bluetooth, FM radio, USB
and AUX input modes.
2. The “WIRELESS “button on the main control panel access is
used to simply connect or disconnect the Bluetooth and not for
scanning any new BT device.
AUX-in input:
Follow the steps below to connect an external audio source
(Smartphone, tablet) to playback your tracks from your Party speaker.
You will need a 3.5mm audio cable or a 3.5mm to RCA cable (not
supplied) to connect your external device to the AUX input socket.
1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX socket on
top of the unit (6). Connect the other end to an earphone or line out
socket of the external audio device (Smartphone).
2. Switch to AUX mode by pressing the MODE button on the main unit
or from the remote control repeatedly until AUX appears on the
LED display
3. Press PLAY on the external audio device.
4. Adjust the volume to your desired level.
Note: When connecting via the headphone output, the volume of the
party speakers is affected by the volume control on the player. Ensure
that the audio source (such as MP3 player, smartphone) is set to 70-
80% volume to avoid distortion.
FM Radio operation:
1. Press the MODE button on the main unit or from the remote control
to access to the FM Radio.
2. Long press the button on the main unit or on the remote control
to begin the auto scan process. The unit will save all the FM
stations detected.
3. Use the and buttons to cycle between the saved station
presets.
Note: The position of the party speaker is important for a good FM
reception. If you are unable to find a desired radio station, move the
party speaker to a different location and try to scan again.
Playback MP3 files from a USB:
Follow the steps below to connect a USB drive and playback MP3 files.
1. Insert a compatible USB flash drive into the USB port of the
speaker located on the top panel (4).
2. The device will be automatically detected and the first track in folder
01 or the root of the USB will start playback automatically.
3. To pause playback, simply press the button on the main unit or
on the remote-control during playback. To resume playback, press
once more.
4. To skip to the next or previous track, use the or buttons.
USB Charging port:
1. Connect your mobile device to the USB port (3) to charge your
portable device.
2. The USB charging port allow to charge devices such as mobile
phones, tablets, or any other device which have a 5V-2A input.
USB / MP3 information:
Do not remove the USB device during playback.
A maximum of 999 tracks and 99 folders can be recognized.
Make sure the USB device is formatted to FAT16, 32 formats.
Maximum reading capacity is 32 GB.
Light effect:
Press the LED button (10) on the main unit or the button from your
remote control (15) to turn on or off the LED lights.
The LED button includes different modes of lighting.
1. Red
2. Green
3. Blue
4. Breathing effect
Bluetooth connection:
To connect a smartphone or any other device to your speaker via
Bluetooth, follow the below steps:
1. Press the MODE button on the unit or from the remote control until
“BLUE” appears on the LED display of the speaker.
2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone, tablet or any
other Bluetooth device which you wish to connect to your speaker
and search for “SY-XT80BT”. Once found, select it to pair your
external device to the speaker.
3. In the case you are asked to enter a code, please enter “0000”
4. Once the speaker is connected to your external Bluetooth device, a
sound will be heard confirming the pairing of the two devices.
5. Each time you switch the Speaker on and select the Bluetooth
mode, the device will automatically pair and connect to the last
device, unless the device has been un-paired on your external
Bluetooth device.
6. Once the devices are paired up, press the Play/Pause button to
start playback.
7. When receiving a call during Bluetooth playback, the audio will
automatically stop playing. Once you hang up the call, the music
will restore.
8. The volume output is affected by the volume level from the external
audio source: For example, if you have paired your smartphone,
you will need to adjust the volume level from your smartphone to
avoid distortion.
9. To unpair the device from a Bluetooth connection, press the
“WIRELESS” button on the main control panel of the speaker. The
speaker will revert automatically to search mode and will be
available for a new connection.
Functions and controls:
Once your speaker is connected to an external device via Bluetooth,
you can use the controls located on the top panel of the speaker or from
the remote control.
: Playback or pause the track.
: Skip to the next track.
: Skip to the previous track.
Volume control:
Rotate the volume knob clockwise on the top panel or press the
VOL+ button on the remote control to increase the volume output.
Rotate the volume knob counterclockwise or press the VOL- button
on the remote control to decrease the volume output.
Mute function:
Press the MUTE button (1) on the remote control to silence the audio
playback.
Press once again to resume the audio output.
Troubleshooting:
