SETTINGS AND FEATURES
CHIME ADJUSTMENT
This is only needed when the vehicle supports chimes (ex:
Parking assist, Blind spot detection, Lane sense, etc.).
Set the audio source to OFF. If there is no way to turn the
radio OFF, set the source to AUX.
The OEM radio will have 3 volume settings for parking
assist (Low/Med/High), it is recommended to choose
Medium volume.
Activate any chime (ex: rear parking assist).
Adjust the chime volume using the volume knob.
MAESTRO AR PROGRAMMAbLE FEATURES
These tone control features can be adjusted in the settings
of the radio.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
bEFORE INSTALLING
Update the aftermarket amplifi er with special fi rmware
to make it compatible with Maestro RR.
STEP 1
Remove the factory amplifi er (refer to wire chart for
amplifi er location).
Confi gure the 2 pin connectors on the AR-CH2 T-harness
as shown on the wiring diagram.
STEP 2
Connect the factory amplifi er harnesses to the AR-CH2
T-harness.
STEP 3
Connect the wires from the AR-CH2 T-harness to the
aftermarket amplifi er.
Note 1:
If you are running your own speaker wires from the
amplifi er to the speakers, this step is not necessary.
Note 2:
The amplifi er output colors and labels on the CH2 T-harness
do not correspond to the vehicle. For vehicle specifi c wiring
designation, see the wiring chart.
Plug the connector from the AR-CH2 T-Harness into the
female adapter (supplied by Audison). Plus the adapter into
the aftermarket amplifi er.
Plug the Data cable (supplied by Audison) to the data port
of the aftermarket amplifi er.
STEP 4
Connect all the harnesses to the Maestro AR module.
Note 3:
The aftermarket amplifi er will not turn OFF with the key, it
will shut down when the vehicle goes to sleep.
Note 4:
The optical input source will be disabled when connected
to Maestro AR for Prima amplifi ers that have hardware
revision R2 or lower.
The optical input of the Prima Amplifi er will be used for
audio when the OEM radio source “AVINPUT” is used. The
volume knob will change the optical volume in the Prima
amplifi er in vR3 or higher.
