Introduction
This battery charger is a highly advanced, fully automatic
charger that can quickly recharge AA and AAA NiMH batteries,
like those used with digital cameras, MP3 and CD players, 2-
way radios, radio-controlled cars, motorized toys, and other
high-drain devices.
This charger can recharge 1, 2, 3, or 4 batteries at a time, and
can complete recharging in about 15 minutes.

Important safety
instructions
To reduce the risk of injury, recharge only rechargeable
NiMH batteries with the charger. Other types of
batteries may burst, causing personal injury to you or
damage the charger.
Do not charge a battery size other than AA or AAA.
Do not mix NiMH and NiCd batteries in the charger.
Do not charge batteries that are damaged or leaking.
Do not expose the charger to rain or excessive moisture.

Never operate a charger that has been damaged in any
way.
Do not disassemble the charger.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger
from the AC power outlet before trying any
maintenance or cleaning.
Never alter the AC power plug. An improper connection
can result in an electric shock.
Never put the charger against a carpet when charging.
The charger produces heat, and must be well
ventilated.
Never use the charger as a DC power source for
electrical equipment.
Using the charger
To recharge batteries:
1 Insert the batteries into the charger according to the
polarity (+ and - symbols) shown on the diagram
inside the charger.
2 Plug the charger into an AC power outlet. The charger
begins to recharge the batteries, and the red LED
indicator turns on.
When the batteries are fully charged, the LED indicator
turns off.
Caution: Do not mix NiMH and NiCd batteries in the
charger.

Note: It is normal for batteries to become warm while
charging.
3 When the batteries are fully charged, remove them
from the charger, then unplug the charger from the AC
power outlet. You are done.

Troubleshooting

The LED indicator
doesn’t turn on when
the charger is plugged
in.
Make sure that the batteries are
inserted with the correct polarity.
If the batteries are inserted
correctly, unplug the charger,
remove the batteries, then clean
the batteries and charger contacts.
