Valor 763BPB is a backing plate designed to be used with Valor heater models 739. It can be used to cover larger fireplace openings and is compatible with all optional inner front kits. The 763BPB has no depth or thickness, so a cavity height of at least 24" and a cavity depth of at least 14" are required to fully recess the heater. Otherwise, this plate will stand approximately 1" forward of the wall surface.

The 763BPB plate is intended to be used on Valor heaters models 739 only. Mounting of the 763 does not aff ect
clearances or other specifi cations listed in the heater installation manuals.

Installation
1. Attach the two shrouds (support brackets) supplied with the 739 fi replace to the rear
mounted rails of the backing plate (3 screws/side). The shrouds should be fl ush with
the plate at the bottom.
2. Attach the complete plate to the 739 fi rebox (2 screws/side).
If the plate requires touch up, use the following paint specifi cation:
Stove Bright high temperature paint
Flat black #6304.
The 763 Backing Plate can be used where necessary to
cover larger fi replace openings. It is compatible with all
optional inner front kits.

Note : Comme cette plaque n’a pas de profondeur, la hauteur de la cavité de
l’âtre dans lequel est placé le foyer doit être d’au moins 24 pouces (610 mm)
et la profondeur de la cavité doit être d’au moins 14 pouces (356 mm) afi n de
permettre de positionner le foyer complètement dans l’âtre. Autrement, si le
foyer dépasse de la cavité, la plaque de fi nition dépassera aussi la surface du
mur d’environ 1 pouce (25bmm).

Installation
1. Fixez les supports de montage fournis avec le foyer 739 de chaque côté (3 vis par côté). Le
bas des supports doit être égal au bas de la plaque.
2. Fixez la plaque au foyer (2 vis par côté).
Dans les cas ou la peinture de la plaque doit être retouchée, utilisez la peinture suivante :

nécessaire de couvrir une grande ouverture de foyer.
