Keyboard Changes
Two keys on your Home Internet Appliance IA-2 are different from the keys on the keyboard illustration in the
“Features” section of your iPAQ Home Internet Appliance IA2—Getting Started guide.
The Alt key is located next to the Ctrl key and currently has no function. The key is on the board to allow for future
upgrades to the system.
The documented position of the Alt key (to the left of the @ key and the spacebar on the keyboard) is replaced on
your keyboard by the tilde key as shown in this illustration:
Microphone
The small opening at the top of your unit (below the Display Control keys) is a microphone. The microphone
currently is not active, but will be needed in the future as the Home Internet Appliance capabilities are expanded.
