SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT TO BE READ AND OBSERVED
• Before using the appliance, read these safety instructions. Keep them
nearby for future reference.

• These instructions and the appliance itself provide important safety
warnings, to be observed at all times. The manufacturer declines
any liability for failure to observe these safety instructions, for
inappropriate use of the appliance or incorrect setting of controls.
SAFETY WARNINGS
•
Very young children (0-3 years) should be kept away from the
appliance and its cord. Young children (3-8 years) should be kept
away from the appliance unless continuously supervised. Children
from 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
can use this appliance only if they are supervised or have been given
instructions on safe use and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• WARNING: Hot Surface: The surfaces of appliance are
liable to get hot during use and should not be touched
without taking care.
INSTALLATION
•
Use protective gloves to unpack and install - risk of cuts.
•
Installation, including water supply (if any) and electrical
connections,andrepairsmustbecarriedoutbyaqualiedtechnician.
Donotrepairorreplaceanypartoftheapplianceunlessspecically
stated in the user manual. Keep children away from the installation
site. After unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been
damaged during transport. In the event of problems, contact the
dealeroryournearestAfter-salesService.Onceinstalled,packaging
waste (plastic, Styrofoam parts etc.) must be stored out of reach of
children - risk of suffocation. The appliance must be disconnected

from the power supply before any installation operation - risk of
electrical shock. During installation, make sure the appliance does not
damagethepowercable-riskofreorelectricalshock.Onlyactivate
the appliance when the installation has been completed.
•
Placetheapplianceonadrysteadyatsurfacesuchasacounter
or table. Keep it away from the edge of the work surface.
•

ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
•
Ensure that the appliance is connected to an electrical source
havingvalueswithinthosespeciedonapplianceratinglabel.

It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power
supply by unplugging it if plug is accessible, or by a multi-pole switch
installed upstream of the socket in accordance with the wiring rules
and the appliance must be earthed in conformity with national
electrical safety standards.

Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets or adapters. The
electrical components must not be accessible to the user after
installation. Do not use the appliance when you are wet or barefoot.
Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged power cable or plug,
if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with an identical

The outer surface temperature can become very high when the
appliance is operating. Do not touch the hot surfaces and allow to cool
before handling the appliance, its detachable parts and its

Useonlycoldtapwatertollthewatertank.Useonlydrinking
water. Do not use sparkling mineral water or any other liquids. Do not
run the appliance without water that will cause the pump to overheat

Use fresh water for each brewing and do not leave water in the
water tank for long periods.
•
Clean coffee drops accumulated into the drip drawer.
•
Thelling,ordecalcifying,orrinsing,orinspectionaperturesthat

are under pressure, shall not be opened during use.

The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
•

Prevent contact with brewed hot coffee during brewing cycle.
Maximum brewing temperature is 80°C.

The container is designed for use with this appliance. It cannot be
used on a range top.

carafe is liable to crack.

Do not set a hot container on a wet or cold surface.
•
Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
•
Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing
cycles.

WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the surface is cracked.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off and
disconnected from the power supply before performing any
maintenance operation; never use steam cleaning equipment or spray
detergents on the appliance - risk of electric shock.
•
Wipe the base, control knob, and feet with a damp cloth. All
removable parts can be washed in hot, sudsy water. After washing
rinse, dry immediately and thoroughly.
•
Donotcleantheappliancewithammableorexplosiveliquids.Do
not use any harsh solvents, alkaline cleaning agents, abrasive
cleansers or scouring agents of any kind when cleaning. Do not
immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.
•
Clean the appliance after each use and not allow any stagnant
liquids in the bowls

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our product.
In doing so, you have opted for an effective high-
performance appliance.
If the instructions on the correct use of this appliance
are not observed, the manufacturer shall assume no
responsibility for any resulting damage.
The operating instructions may refer to different
models:anydifferenceisclearlyidentied.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit
is not damaged. Add clean water up to maximum
level to brew several times without coffee powder
according to the steps below, and then discard the
water. Wash the detachable parts thoroughly with
warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Openthetoplidandllthewatertankwith
cold drinking water. The water level should not
exceed MAX level as indicated on water gauge.
2. Put the funnel into funnel holder, then place
thelterinthefunnel,andmakesureitis
assembled correctly.
3. Addcoffeepowderintolter.Usuallyacupof
coffee needs a level spoon of coffee powder,
but you may adjust according to personal
taste. Close the funnel holder, a click sound
will be heard when the funnel holder is closed
completely.
4. Insert the carafe on warming plate horizontally.
5. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
6. Pressing the switch down, the indicator will be
illuminated. The appliance will begin working.
Note:duringbrewingprocessyoumayremove
the carafe to serve for duration of not exceeding
30 seconds, and the coffee maker can stop dripping
automatically. If the serve time exceeds 30 seconds the
coffeewilloverowthefunnel.
7. Upon completion of brewing coffee, that is one
minute later after the coffee stops dripping out,
you can remove the carafe, pour and serve.
Note:thebrewedcoffeeyougetwillbeslightly
less than the water you have added as some
water is absorbed by coffee powder.
DONOTtouchcover,warmingplateandsoonwhen
operating as they are very hot.
8. Whentheprocessisnished,ifyoudonotwant
to serve immediately, keep the switch on, the
coffee can be kept warm in the warming plate
for 40 minutes and the appliance will be cut off
automatically after 40 minutes. For an optimum
coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect
the power supply after use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:Alwaysunplugtheproductfrom
electrical outlet and allow the warming plate to
coolcompletelybeforecleaningit.Neverimmerse
the unit or power cord into water or any other liquid
for cleaning
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot,
sudsy water.
2. Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft,
damp cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may buildup in the area above
the funnel and drip onto the product base during
brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the
area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the
product.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming
plate.Neveruseabrasivecleanertocleanit.
5. Replace all parts and keep for next use.

Note:cleanthecoffeemakerwhenover-
extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets
on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the
extraction of oil from the coffee powder.
Note:oilinessmayoccurmorefrequentlyif
heavily roasted coffees are used.

MATERIALS
The packaging material is 100%
recyclable and is marked with the
recycle symbol (*). The various parts of
the packaging must therefore be
disposed of responsibly and in full
compliance with local authority regulations governing
waste disposal.
DISPOSAL OF HOUSEHOLD
APPLIANCES
This appliance is manufactured with
recyclable or reusable materials. Dispose of
it in accordance with local waste disposal
regulations. For further information on the
treatment, recovery and recycling of
household electrical appliances, contact your local
authority, the collection service for household waste
or the store where you purchased the appliance. This
appliance is marked in compliance with European
Directive 2012/19/EU, Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
negative consequences for the environment and
human health. The (*) symbol on the product or on
the accompanying documentation indicates that it
should not be treated as domestic waste but must be
taken to an appropriate collection center for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
Tokeepyourcoffeemakeroperatingefciently,
periodically you should clean away the mineral
deposits left by the water according to the water
quality in your area and the use frequency. We
recommend decalcifying your coffee maker as
follows, using a solution of white vinegar and cold
water. A solution of two tablespoons (30ml) white
vinegar in one carafe of cold water works best.
1. Fill the tank with the vinegar solution to the
maximum level as indicated on water gauge.
2. Insert glass carafe onto the warming plate.
3. Makeensurelter(withoutcoffeepowder)and
funnel are assembled in place.
4. Switchontheapplianceandallowitto“brew”
de-scaling solution.
5. After“brew”one-cupsolution,switchoffthe
appliance.
6. Leave the solution stay for 15 minutes and
repeat step 3-5.
7. Switch on the appliance and run off the solution
until the water tank is completely empty.
8. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at
least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING
COFFEE
Note:acleancoffeemakerisessentialfor
making great-tasting coffee. Regularly clean
thecoffeemakerasspeciedinthe“CAREAND
CLEANING”section.Alwaysusefresh,coldwaterin
the coffee maker.
Note:storeunusedcoffeepowderinacool,
dry place. After opening a package of coffee
powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to
maintain its freshness.
Note:foranoptimumcoffeetaste,buywhole
coffeebeansandnelygrindthemjustbefore
brewing.
Note:donotreusecoffeepowdersincethis
willgreatlyreducethecoffee’avor.Reheating
coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak
avorimmediatelyafterbrewing.
