connect the receiver
& transmitter to your tv
A. Plug in both units in the
same outlet (any outlet).
B. Turn both units on. The
switches are on the back
panels.
C. Press and hold the LINK
button on the back panel
of the transmitter for ve
seconds. The LINK indicator
on the front panel starts
ashing. Now, do the same
thing on the receiver.
· Note: The two units are intro-
ducing themselves to each other
so that they can communicate.
They only have to do this once.
D. When the transmitter and
receiver are linked, the LINK
indicators on the front of
each wll glow steadily
(not ashing). The units are
linked and ready to connect.
E. Turn both units off and
unplug them.
Now you’re ready to nd the
best places for the transmitter
and receiver to reside. Here are
some things to consider as
you’re deciding where the units
should go:
A. Don’t plug into a surge
protector — these interfere
with the communication
between the units. A power
strip is OK to use.
B. Don’t plug into a switchtable
outlet. The units should have
an outlet that always has a
current.
C. Make sure the IR window is
exposed on the receiving unit.
This lets you send remote
commands to the device
connected to the transmitter.
If you want to hide the
receiving unit, you can use
the IR extender.
· Note: See the User Guide
for setup instructions.
attaching the stands:
Find the two stands and four
nylon-topped screws that
came in the package. Line up
the holes on the stand with
the holes on the bottom of
the transmitter or receiver.
Insert the screws and tighten.
A. Connect the receiver to
your TV using the included
HDMI cable.
B. Connect the transmitter
to your signal source (for
example, a DVD player or
satellite receiver). Use a
second HDMI cable (not
included).
C. Plug in and turn on the
transmitter and receiver.
D. Find an outlet or power
strip close to each and
plug them in.
E. Turn on both units. The
Power switches are on the
back panels. The POWER
and LINK indicators should
light up on both. This means
they’re ready to go.
F. Start playing the DVD or
tune to the satellite or cable
channel you want to watch.
The DATA indicator lights
up on the transmitter and
receiver. This means the HD
over PLC system is sending
high-defenition video and
digital audio from your
source to your display.
Enjoy!
· Note: You can also mount the receiver on your wall using
the wall mounting kit that’s included in this package. See
the User Guide for mounting instructions.
