Assembly Instructions
Note: Do not tighten bed bolts until all sheet metal parts are in place.
1. Lay floor (18) on a non-scratching surface (such as carpet or micro-foam packing material) with the flanges
pointing up. Place the sides (20) to the outside of the floor flanges. Loosely secure the fasteners into the center
holes on the sides to the floor panel with four ¼ Carriage Bolts (27), ¼” Flat Washer (30) and ¼”Nylon Locking
nuts (29).
2. Slide the front panel (24) outside of the two sides, matching corresponding holes. Loosely secure the matching
holes with eleven ¼” Carriage Bolts (27), ¼” Flat Washers (30), and ¼” Nylon Locking Nuts (29).
3. Install Rear Stiffener Support (21)(tailgate guides facing out) to floor, using three 3/8” Carriage Bolts (14) and 38”
flat washers (26), and 3/8 Nylon Locking nuts (13). Use eight ¼” carriage bolts ( 27), ¼” Washer (30) and ¼”
nylon lock nut (29), to attach the side to the support.
4. Install the axle (4) to the floor using three 3/8” carriage bolts (14) 3/8” flat washers, and 3/8” nylon locking nuts
(13).
5. Securely tighten all bolts in body assembly.
6. Install wheel hubs w/bearings (1) on the spindles of the axle, making sure that the wheel studs point towards the
outside. Slide the wheel bearing (8) onto the spindle, and into the bearing face of the hub. Secure the hub with
the flat washer(9) and castle nut (10). Do Not Overtighten! Tighten the castle nut to 15 ft/lbs. to eliminate
endplay, making sure the wheel will spin freely. Insert the cotter pin through the castle nut and hole in the
spindle. Bend the ends of the cotter pin over to lock. Tap the dust cap (3) into the hub opening until flange on cap
seats with hub.
7. Bolt the tire & wheel assembly (2) to the hub using the eight wheel lug nuts (6). Tighten the lug nuts to 90 ft/lbs.
(Very Tight)
8. Loosely secure the right and left tongue brackets (19) & (22) to the floor using four 3/8” carriage bolts (14), 3/8”
Flat washer (26), and 3/8” nylon locking nuts (13). Install the tongue (15) ( round end of tongue face to the floor
panel), between the two tongue brackets using one ½” x 3 bolt (11) and ½” lock nut (7). Do Not Over Tighten!
Swing the tongue until it makes contact with the floor and fix the in place using the ½-L pin (5) and spring clip
through the two forward holes in the tongue brackets. Securely tighten all bolts to the floor.
9. Bolt 1 7/8” coupler assembly (12) to the tongue(15)using two 3/8-x 3 bolts (16), 3/8-16 nylon locking nuts (13).
Install safety pin (17) through the hole of the coupler trigger, then install hair pin (32) to lock in place
Note: Check all nuts and bolts occasionally for tightness, and retighten as needed.
Operation and Safety Notes
1. A full capacity load is 700 pounds, DO NOT exceed rated capacity
2. Cart is for ATV or Garden Tractor only, Not for highway use
3. Use caution when operating vehicle as a loaded trailer reduces your ability to stop.
4. Check that the tires are inflated properly. Pressure should be Approximately 5 PSI
5. Check Fasteners periodically, Tighten as needed.
6. Do not exceed manufactures recommended tongue weight, and load capacity.
