TO TURN OFF
GAS TO FIREPLACE
1. Pushthe‘OFF’buttononremote.
2. Removebatteriesfromreceiver.

A.This replace is equipped with
anelectronicpilotignitiondevice
which automatically lights the
burner. Do not try to light the
burnerbyhand.
B.BEFORE LIGHTING, smell all
aroundthereplaceareaforgas.
Besuretosmellnexttotheoor
becausesomegasisheavierthan
airandwillsettleontheoor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL
GAS
• Donottrytolightanyappliance.
Improper installation, adjustment,
alteration, service or maintenance
can cause injury or property dam-
age.Refertotheowner’sinformation
manualprovidedwiththisreplace.
Thisreplaceneedsfreshairforsafe
operationandmustbeinstalledso
there are provisions for adequate
combustionandventilationair.
Ifnotinstalled,operated,andmain-
tainedinaccordancewiththeman-
ufacturer’sinstructions,thisproduct
couldexposeyoutosubstancesin
fuelorfuelcombustion.
Keep burner and control compart-
ment clean. See installation and
operatinginstructionsaccompanying
replace.
CAUTION:
Hotwhileinoperation.Donottouch.
Keep children, clothing, furniture,
gasoline and other liquids having
ammablevaporsaway.
Do not operate the replace with
panel(s) removed, cracked or bro-
ken. Replacement of the panel(s)
should be done by a licensed or
qualiedserviceperson.
• Donottouchanyelectricswitch;do
notuseanyphoneinyourbuilding.
• Immediatelycallyourgassupplier
from a neighbor’s phone. Follow
thegassupplier’sinstructions.
•Ifyoucannotreachyourgassup-
plier,calltheredepartment.
C. Donotusethisreplaceifanypart
hasbeenunderwater.Immediately
callaqualiedservicetechnicianto
inspectthereplaceandtoreplace
anypartofthecontrolsystemand
any gas control which has been
underwater.
NOT FOR USE
WITH SOLID FUEL
For use with natural or propane
gases.

gas. Then smell for gas, including
neartheoor.Ifyousmellgas,STOP!

3. To light the burner, simultaneously
press the star and up arrow
buttonsontheremotecontroluntila
shortacousticsignalconrmsthestart
sequencehasbegun.
4. Ifthereplacewillnotoperate,check
thebatteriesthenfollowtheinstruc-
tions“ToTurnOffGastoFireplace”
andcallyourservicetechnicianorgas
supplier.
