This cladding has been designed to

ensure maximum convenience and

safety. It has been manufactured

with the greatest of care. If however

you should find the slightest

dissatisfaction with it, please contact

your supplier.

We recommend that you read these

instructions prior to installation.

PRESENTATION OF THE PRODUCT

Recommendations

Read the installation instructions and

directions for use before installation

and actual usage.

Also adhere to your stove's directions

for use.

We strongly recommend you entrust

the installation of this Stûv cladding to

a qualified professional.

Once the cladding has been installed,

hand these instructions over to the

user.

Signing the delivery forms signifies

that you accept the product and

acknowledge that the merchandise

is compliant with the merchandise

ordered. It is therefore very important

to check the integrity of the

merchandise on delivery.

Any modification made to this

cladding may create the risk of

danger. Furthermore, it will also

exempt it from the guarantee cover.

The installation of the stove, its

accessories and surrounding materials

must meet all regulations (local and

national) and all standards (national

and European).

PREPARATION OF THE AREA

When installing, the first stages are:

> fitting the template onto the stove.

> fitting the plaster side panels onto

this template.

These operations ensure that the side

panels are positioned properly. They

are in their final positions.

Therefore the side panels become

the reference for constructing the

partition.

The first step is to remove the door.

- Ensure the glass door is fully pulled

down.

- Tilt the door.

- Unfasten the counterbalances and

position them so that they rest against

the bottom.

Once the door is open, it is

recommended to block it in this

position. To do this, screw 2 M6

screws to the base of the lower hinge

part [diagram 5].

Placing the side panels on the template

Warning!

If you are using a screwdriver to put in

the screws connecting the side panels

[diagrams 5 & 6], ensure that you use

a slow speed and light torque.

The screws must not be tightened -

their role is only to interlock the side

panels with the template.

Over-tightening these screws risks

damaging the side panels and/or

distorting their positions.

The additional holes [detail A on

diagram 5] are reserves in the event of

any problem upon the initial fastening

attempt.

Warning! It is important to note

that the plaster side panels are the

reference points for finishing the

partition.

Make sure that your thicknesses are

calculated so as they are never closer

to the stove than the upper part [side

A', diagram 1] and the lower part of

the side panels, side A'', diagram 1].

With the same aim, sides B from

diagram 2 are the reference points for

the front of the finished partition.

Warning!

Since the work is carried out on the

stove without door, watch out for

any debris that may fall inside the

microMega. Ensure that the inside

is protected and do not forget to

remove unwanted items before

lighting the stove.

We advise that the framework and

a plasterboard thickness (+ corner

iron) are pre-fitted in order to make

sure that each element is positioned

correctly and has enough space.

Warning!

On the top part, make sure that

there are a few millimetres of space

between the back of the upper panel

and the metal sheet protecting the

glass when it is removed [diagram 13].

On the bottom part, make sure that

enough space is kept to fit the shelf

from the coating finishing kit [details

from diagarm 14 and diagram 2 from

the section: "When installation is

complete"]

In the event that a finishing corner

iron is fitted, allow for the thickness of

the front panel [diagram 11]

Install the vertical uprights on each

side of the stove.

These uprights help to fix the side

panels.

The addition of framework elements

may prove necessary to fasten on

some standard panel sizes.

After the panels are put in place,

remove the template in order to make

the necessary finishes.

To remove the template, see p17.

Take the back of the side panels as a

reference point [diagram 1].

This reference line corresponds to the

front of the brick wall [diagram 2].

12.5 mm will be available for the

finish.

Start fitting from the middle of the

device [diagram 3].

Warning!

The value of X [diagram 5]

corresponds to the height of one block

and the finishing corner iron (where

there is a corner iron)!

Warning!

The front of the masonry is aligned

with the back of the side panels

BUT the finishing corner iron must

be aligned with the front of the side

panel [diagram 11]

Once the partition is fitted, remove

the template in order to perform the

necessary finishes.

Whether you are applying a coating

or making a ceiling, take care not to

go over the edge of the front of the

side panels too far with plaster. This

means that you will avoid the risks of

breaking the vertical edge which starts

the curve of the microMega.

When installation is completed

Take care to leave enough space at

the top and bottom of the door so

that it can open without snagging

(see Stûv microMega installation

instructions).
