excessively heavy product; the hood must be handled and installed by two or more people.
The distance between the support surface of containers on the cooking device and any components placed above the worktop must be at least 50 cm for electric
cookers and 65 cm for gas or combi cookers.
This is to prevent any hindrance in the up (opening) and down (closing) travel of the extraction panel, and to facilitate access to the hood controls on the panel.
IMPORTANT: Position the metal box containing the electronic components at a distance of not less than 65 cm from the gas hob or in any case 65 cm from the
hood suction point.
IMPORTANT: Install the metal box containing the electronic components at least 10 cm from the floor.
IMPORTANT: A built-in oven CANNOT be installed under the hob due to the presence of the hood extraction unit.
Before installation, check the distances given in the hob manual.
If the cooking device installation instructions specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account.
CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY
Make sure the voltage specified on the product dataplate matches the mains voltage. It is located inside the hood and visible on removing the grease filter.
Power cable replacement (type H05 VV-F) must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Contact an authorised service centre.
If provided with a plug, connect the appliance to a socket complying with current regulations and located in an accessible place. If there is no plug (direct
connection to the mains), or if the plug is not in an accessible place, fit a suitable double-pole switch that ensures complete disconnection from the mains in
category III overvoltage conditions, in conformity with installation rules.
