DESCRIPTION
The HPSA-I is an indoor daylight sensor specifically designed to
be used in conjunction with a Lighting Integrator Complete Control
level panel and WinControl user software only. Consult the factory
for information on photocell sensors to be used with other Legrand/
Wattstopper lighting control panels.
INSTALLATION
Install the sensor on the ceiling halfway between the window and the
first row of light fixtures. Drill a ½” hole through the ceiling. Peel off
the film on the bottom of the sensor to expose the adhesive. Press
the sensor firmly into place. If using a junction box for the installation,
the box must have a ½” hole to accept the sensors stem.
In rooms with indirect luminaries providing uplight, it may be
necessary to mask the sensor lens for proper operation. Use the
included masking film to cover approximately one third of the lens
facing the luminaire.
Wiring
Connect the sensor to the lighting control panel as shown, making
sure to maintain the color code of the conductors between the
sensor pigtails and the color coded connector within the panel. The
sensor can be connected to any of the available terminals on the
panel’s group switching card (see panel installation instructions for
the location of these terminals). However, if factory documentation
was supplied with the system, the sensor must be connected to the
specified terminal in order for the programming to work correctly.
For an overview of the entire system, refer to the Lighting
Integrator Installation and Operation Manual.
