Caution: This is not a medical product. If there is a problem with your child, call 911 immediately.
Strangulation Hazard: Children can become entangled in cords. Power cords should be kept at least 3 ft away from the crib and
baby’s reach at all times. Failure to do so could be fatal. Baby monitors and cameras with power cords should never be hung on
or near the crib.
Supervision: This product does not replace responsible adult supervision. Check on your child at regular intervals and make
sure your monitor is always adequately charged. Failure to do so can be fatal.
Power Source: LEVANA® highly recommends the use of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with surge protection when
plugging in the camera and monitor. This product should only be used with the AC power adapters included.
Water and Moisture: Product intended for indoor use only. The unit should not be exposed to rain, moisture, dripping or
splashing, and should not be used near water.
Keep Away from Heat Sources: This product should not be exposed to direct heat sources such as a candle, replace, radiator,
heat register, stove or other appliances that emit heat. The product should not be left in direct sunlight.
Non-Use Periods: Always unplug the AC adapters from the wall outlet during long periods of non-use.
Damage Requiring Service: This product should be serviced by qualied personnel only, when:
A. Product has fallen or liquid has spilled into the unit.
B. Product has been exposed to liquids or moisture.
C. Product does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a distinct change in performance.
D. Product has been dropped or the casing has been damaged.

Optimum range is 150 ft when signal is passing through walls or oors. Microwave ovens (when in use) may cause signal
disruption at close range. Buildings with metal frames may also cause signal disruption. Maximum transmission range is
900 ft in an open area.
Night Vision range is up to 12 ft under ideal conditions. Objects at or beyond this range may be partially or completely
obscured, depending on the camera application.
Battery life of 8 hours based on Power Save mode. Battery lasts an average of 4 hours with continuous audio/video usage.

LEVANA® products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and
materials. This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price at LEVANA®’s options.
This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of having been misused, mishandled or tampered with contrary
to the applicable instruction manual.
Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
The warranty expressly provided for herein is the sole warranty provided in connection with the product itself and no other
warranty, expressed or implied is provided. LEVANA® assumes no responsibilities for any other claims not specically men-
tioned in this warranty.

Charging the Battery
Getting the Most Out of Your Rechargeable Battery
Fully charge the battery (approximately 4 hours) before the rst use. The battery power status will appear on the Status
Bar and should be 100%
Charge the battery before it fully drains to maximize battery life. We recommend charging daily.
Avoid exposing the battery to extreme heat or cold, extreme temperatures will aect the life of the battery.
Activate Sleep Mode, the monitor automatically sleeps after a few seconds of inactivity to extend battery life.
Decrease screen Brightness to extend battery life.
WARNING: Baby monitors and cameras with power cords should never be hung on or near the crib as it is a strangulation
hazard. Power cords should be kept no less than 3 ft away from the crib and baby’s reach at all times.
Press and hold the power button until the moni-
tor turns ON/OFF (approximately 3-5 seconds).
When the monitor turns on the Introduction
screen will appear after the Levana splash screen.
See page 11 for Introduction instructions.
Slide the power switch to turn the camera
ON/OFF.
If the camera is not automatically paired after
setup is complete you will need to pair it
manually. See page 22 for pairing instructions.

Introduction Screens
When you turn on your monitor for the rst time and after a Factory Reset, the Introduction will appear on the screen. This
feature gives you the option to create settings and to learn more about how your monitor works.
• Use the Navigation Arrows on the front of the monitor to move through the option and screens. Press OK to
make a selection
• Access the Introduction screen at any time through the Support menu option. See page 28 for Support instructions.

Provides screen for selecting/changing Language/Time and a

1. Choose your preferred Language from the list using the
UP/DOWN navigation arrows and press OK to set
and move the next screen.
2. Use the RIGHT/LEFT navigation arrow to move through
the options and to the next/previous screen.
3. Use the UP/DOWN navigation arrows to change the
Hour/Minutes to set the time.
After the initial setup and function screens, the FAQ list will
appear. This provides a list of the most frequently asked
questions with instructions.
1. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to move through the list of
Questions.
2. Press OK to open a Question and the RIGHT/LEFT
arrows to view the details.
3. Choose the X (bottom of the page) to exit by pressing OK
when the X is highlighted.
4. Choose 'Do no show again' to stop the Introduction
screen from showing the next time the monitor is
powered ON by pressing OK when the eld is
highlighted.

Monitor Placement
Use the retractable stand on the back of the monitor to place it on a table top.
When not in use, clip the stand back in place so that the bracket is ush with the
back of the monitor.
Camera Placement
The camera can be placed on a table top or hung on the wall above the area being monitored.
Place the camera within 10 ft of the area being monitored for best picture results.
Do not place objects within 3 ft of the eld of view of the camera. Night vision will not
activate correctly if objects are closer than 3 ft.
Use the Pan/Tilt/Zoom feature to adjust the angle of the camera.
TABLETOP PLACEMENT
1. Place the camera on a tabletop no less than 3 ft away from
the baby’s crib.
2. Feed the power cord down the back of the table or use wall clips
(not included) to secure the cord away from baby’s reach.
3. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
4. Check the view on the monitor to ensure there are no obstructions
and that you have a good view of your baby.

hazard. Power cords should be kept no less than 3 ft away from the crib and baby’s reach at all times.

SETUP
WALL PLACEMENT
Important: Before drilling, check the camera placement and reception. Ensure you are hanging the camera no less than
3 ft away from baby’s crib.
1. Pre-drill one hole in the wall using a drill bit that meets the size
of the screw.
2. Insert a wall anchor (included) into the hole and tap gently
with a hammer until the anchor is ush with the wall.
3. Insert the screw into the wall anchor and tighten until the
screw sticks out approximately a ½”.You may need to adjust
more than ½” to ensure the camera is snug to that wall.
4. Connect the power cord to the power input on the camera.
5. Locate the wall mounting hole on the bottom of the
camera base.
6. Slide the hole over the screw on the wall until the
camera is in place.
7. Check that the camera is secure against the wall.
Adjust the screw to ensure the camera is not loose.
8. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
9. Use wall clips (not included) to secure the power cord
away from the crib and baby’s reach.
NOTE: When placing the camera on a wall stud, wall anchors are not required.

FEATURES
Clara comes with a PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera view 300° horizontally and 110° vertically from the center position. You can also
zoom in 2x from the Camera Select menu.
Pan/Tilt
From the View screen press the Navigation Arrows UP/DOWN
and RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the camera view.
Zoom
Zoom is available through the Camera Select option.

1. Open the Menu, choose Camera, and press OK.
2. Choose Camera Select and press OK.
3. Choose the Camera and press OK to make it the Active
Camera.
4. Choose 2x Zoom and the camera will zoom in on the
image shown on the screen.
5. Repeat steps 1-3 and choose 1x Zoom to return to
normal view.
When in Sequence Mode you can just adjust the view on the
Active Camera while it appears on the screen.

Volume Controls
MONITOR
Use the + / - buttons on the side of the monitor to adjust
the volume. As you press the buttons the volume level will
appear on the screen.
Press the + (top volume button) to increase the volume
coming from the Active Camera.
Press the – (bottom volume button) to decrease the
volume coming from the Active Camera.
Press the – (bottom volume button) so that no bars are
active to Mute all sounds.
NOTE: The selected volume level will appear on the Status Bar.
CAMERA
The camera volume is adjusted from the Lullabies menu for
all sounds.
Open the Lullabies menu and move the Camera
Volume UP/DOWN using the Navigation Arrows. This will
increase/decrease the sound coming from the camera for
lullabies and when talking to baby.

Talk To Baby
TM
With the simple press of a button, you can talk to your child
at any time, without entering the room, through the Active
Camera.
1. To talk, press and hold the Talk button on the front
of the monitor and talk into the microphone. The talk
icon will show on the bottom right of the screen
while Talk To Baby™ is active.
2. Release the button to listen.
Talk To Baby™ will work with the Active Camera only.
You can change the Active Camera from the Camera
Select menu.
Accessing the Menu
1. Press the OK button on the front of the monitor
to open the Menu.
2. Use the Navigation Arrows to move to a menu
option. The option will be changed to orange
when selected.
3. Press OK to select the option.
Press the Exit/Back button on the front of the
monitor to move to the previous screen and to
return to the View screen.

MENU FUNCTIONS
Use the Power Save features to extend the battery life of your monitor.

SLEEP MODE
When selected, the video monitoring will shut o when no
sound is heard. The screen will wake when baby makes
enough sound, based on the sensitivity level set.
Sleep Mode only works with the Active Camera and not with
the Sequence Mode.
1. Open the Menu, choose Power Save, and press OK.
2. Choose Sleep Mode and press OK.
3. Choose the Sensitivity Level for how much sound
needs to be detected for the screen to turn back on.
4. Press OK to turn Sleep Mode ON. The screen will turn
o after 20 seconds and turn back on when sound is
detected.
Choose ALWAYS ON to turn o Sleep Mode and
return to continuous video monitoring.
AUDIO ONLY
When selected, the video monitoring will shut o and allow
for audio monitoring only (no screen view).
If you have more than 1 camera connected, use Sequence
Mode and Audio Only to cycle the audio between all paired
cameras for 10 second intervals.
1. Open the Menu, choose Power Save, and press OK.
2. Choose Audio Only and press OK. The screen will turn
o after 20 seconds and allow for audio only
monitoring.
3. Press OK again to turn Audio Only monitoring OFF and
to return to continuous video monitoring.

Set a Timer to remind you when it's time for baby's next feeding.
The Timer can be set to alert once or be repeated at every time
interval set.
1. Open the Menu, choose Feeding Timer, and press OK.
2. Choose the desired Camera and press OK.
3. Choose the Feed Timer type and press OK to select.
4. Choose the Alarm Settings option and press OK to set.
• Audible: sounds an alarm from the monitor.
• On Screen: ashes the alarm icon on the screen at
3 second intervals.
5. Adjust the Alarm Duration and press OK.
• Repeat: alert is enable at every interval set on the Timer.
• Once: alert is enabled only once for the time set.
Select from the 2 Lullabies, 2 Nature Sounds or White Noise to
help soothe baby to sleep. Set timers for playing sounds and
control the camera volume levels.
1. Open the Menu, choose Lullabies, and press OK.
2. Choose the desired Camera and press OK. The lullaby
sound with play through the camera selected.
3. Choose the Lullaby type and press OK to select.
4. Choose the Timer option for how long the lullaby will
play and press OK to set.
5. Adjust the Camera Volume and press OK. This will set
the volume on the camera for Lullabies and Talk to
Baby™
