RCA INST MANUAL
This air conditioner is a domestic electrical product of the class 1 anti-
shock protection category. The user should have grounding
equipment to ensure that the grounding terminal of the air
conditioner’s plug can be secured grounded, the method of power
connection in the air conditioner is M type connection.
This air conditioner fully utilizes water condensation. This improves
condensation effects and increases air cooling efficiency. Moreover,
we have adopted special noise reduction devices to reduce the noise
of water pumping.
The maximum input power and electric current marked on the label
are values under the most condition before the air conditioner left the
O
factory. The outdoor temperature was 43 C. But the input power and
electric current rating marked on the label were obtained from testes
conducted under conditions in which the outdoor temperature was
O
35 C and voltage was 220V.
The noise value marked on the label was obtained from tests
conducted in the Noise Measurement Room at the factory.
The water proof level marked on the label is outdoor IXP4. That is
where the air conditioner is in stated of actual installation, the front
cover and the wall is sealed. Under these conditions, the IXP4 test is
carried out on the outside unit of the air conditioner.
Note: If your air conditioner is the type that for cooling only, ignore the
instructions related to heating.

SLEEP Designed to create comfortable sleeping conditions. When in COOLING mode,
the temperature rises one degree centigrade every hour, for to three hours, from
the start of the mode. The temperature rise prevents the feeling of over-cooling
while sleeping (when your body is at rest). In HEATING mode the reverse occurs;
the air conditioner lowers its temperature one-degree every hour. When in SLEEP
mode, the air conditioner will be automatically turned off after have operated for
seven hours. The result is a more comfortable and invigorating sleep, which leaves
you feeling fresh and energetic on the next morning.
TIMER Real time control and display, automatically turns the air conditioner ON and
OFF according to the time of day setting, ensuring comfort conditions before
returning home, without wasting electricity. It turns the air conditioner off
automatically when sleeping.
HOT KEEP In HEATING and in AUTO FAN, the fan will be turned off when the compressor
is not in operation and will not be restarted, unless the indoor coil reaches
adequate temperature. The fan speed will vary automatically according to the
room temperature.
AUTO FAN The air conditioner automatically selects the FAN speed in accordance to with the
room temperature. At the start, the unit operates at high fan speed. As the room
air approaches to the desired temperature, the fan switches to a lower speed for
quieter operation.
FAN Recirculates and filters the room air. Maintains constant air movement in
the room.
DRY Dehumidifies and softly cools the room In DRY Mode, the air conditioner
operates at an inceased dehumidifying power. This function is recommended
to be used when temperature is rather low but the humidity is high.
AUTO Automatically switches from COOLING to HEATING or from HEATING to
COOLING, maintaining the desired temperature according to the room conditions.
HEAT Heats and filters the room air. Maintains the desired room temperature.
