Disclaimer:

The AMS 2100 Water ionizer is a water purification product.

Please ensure correct usage of this product and that you have read the instructions fully.

If you feel you are experiencing adverse effects and pain persists, please consult a health care professional.

This appliance must not be used by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

Children must be supervised not to play with this appliance.

For better drinking:

Always discard the initial dispensed water as a precaution. This will ensure the integrity of the desired

"Strength" level selected.

Initially, drink a small amount of level 1 Alkaline water, thereafter increasing level relative to personal tolerance

understanding of personal need

In order to not compromise the integrity of prescribed medicine, ensure "Purified Water" is selected to

take with any medicine prescribed by an authorized medical practitioner.

Ensure to maintain integrity output by testing pH output using reagent method as mentioned

in pH Value Test' chapter.

Optimum drinking levels are based on a normal distribution of the populations needs, it is not recommended

by the manufacturer to drink higher than pH 10.

Avoid an electric circuit overload an outlet or electric wiring.

Connect the unit power plug to the corresponding AC voltage outlet.

> Ensuring the unit is connected directly and solely to a power supply will avoid

overloading the appliance and reduce risk.

Do not give too high a drawing tension to the power cord when you pull the cord out of a socket.

Keep the unit in a dry environment,

Keep the unit clean away from dust, hot temperature, sunlight, salts, chemicals, etc.

Do not attempt to modify the color, shape, or appearance of the unit.

Clean the unit with a soft, dry, washcloth,

For optimum performance, keep the unit in a clean condition.

A Do not place the pH test reagent / liquid near an open flame.

& > The pH test reagent is flammable.

Do not use an Aluminum (weak against alkaline liquid),

copper (weak against acid) or other metallic receptacle

to store ionized water.

~ Do not drink ionized or purified water after being stored for a longer

Q ionized water is no longer ionized after a period of storage.

Take care when handling the pH reagent.

> In case of accidental consumption of the test liquid, induce vomiting and immediately seek medical advice.

> In case of accidental splashing into eyes, wash it off with clean water, and seek medical assistance.

> In case accidental splashing on skin, wash it off with water.

> Keep the pH test liquid kit out of children' s reach.

III TROUBLESHOOTING

Strange smell from output water

Filter life (longevity) is expired.

Filter life is extremely shortened as

poor quality water is used.

Filter replacement is needed

Due to sudden change of source

water quality and excessive chlorine

contained in the source water.

Infinitesimal chlorine might be present

in output water.

Select pH level 1~2 i.e. lower pH

strength.

If still serious, filter replacement is

needed.

Milk-white materials precipitate

on the bottom of an ionized

water receptacle.

(alkaline and acidic water)

It is extracted Calcium Carbonate

(CaCO3) after the CO3 in water is

bonded with Ca if a high content of

CO3 exists in the water.

It is totally harmless.

In this instance, select pH level 1~2,

i.e lower pH strength.

At first no smell, but smell from

the output water in about 1 hour

after collecting ionized water.

The water-storage bottle or

receptacle is contaminated.

Contamination is added into the bottle

when collecting output water from the

unit.

Filter is seriously polluted.

Check cleanliness of a water'-storage

receptacle,

If odor persists after cleaning

receptacle, replace the filter and

select pH level 1~2, i.e, lower pH

strength.

Water leakage from Biter

compsment.

The filter is not fitted firmly on the filter

base.

Rubber O...ring is taken off.

Take out the filter, check the filter

compartment and re-.install the filter

Check the condition of the O-ring

fitting.

No output of generated water

Main power lamp does

not come on.

Insufficient water inflow.

A power cord is not properly

plugged in.

Increase water inflow.

Ensure that power cord is plugged in

correctly.

The fuse is blown.

The fuse is not inserted properly

Replace the fuse

Ionized Water Lamp does not tum

off even after turning the tap off.

Abnormality of Power Circuit Board

Immediately pull the plug out of the

power socket and then contact the

selling agent for service.

On pH test with a reagent, acidic

water color gets yellow, but

alkaline water color indicates pH

neutrality.

Noalkalinity color appearance can

be the result from a chemical reaction

with carbonic acid in the water.

*Alkalinity is in inverse

proportion to acidity, Therefore,

showing an acidic reaction means

that inversely alkaline water is

generated from the unit.

Test pH value with level 4 water

(strong alkaline water),

Test pH value after having water

inflow into the unit for the time being

Power supply is suddenly cut off

Fill up to 2/3 of each provided test tube or a glass container with

alkaline ionized water, acidic ionized water and tap(city) water

respectively.

After putting up to five drops of pH test reagent into each tube,

shake the tube or container properly to mix well.

pH reagent- Colorimetric

Determine each pH value by comparing the mixed solution color mixed solution analysis chart

with the colorimetric analysis chart provided.

*Obtainable pH value can be vary according to source water

> Do not drink any mixed with pH test liquid.

> Keep the pH test liquid bottle and colorimetric analysis paper out fo direct sunlight and store in a dark

and cool place.

@ Vertically attach the provided installation guide paper on the intended

location of the wall after slightly pasting the guide paper with water.

@ Drill holes into the wall on the wall stud position as shown in the guide

paper and insert the screw holders.

Screw down the studs into the screw holders (Icm length of the studs

over the wall surface is needed).

@ Mount the unit on the wall, inserting the wall studs

into the backside holes of the unit.

Sediment

Filters the suspended substances, rust and sediments etc.

Carbon Block

Absorbs residual chlorine, chloroform, particulates, cyst, bacteria, THMs, VOCs, taste, odour and

other contaminants in the source water. This is composed of coconut shell based NSF certified

activated carbon and silver-impregnated carbon to enhance the anti-bacterial effects.

Block Core

PP Sediment Filter with nominal 5 m pore size

Calcium

Adds calcium to increase the alkaline mineral content in water, thus facilitating the electrolysis

process and removing residual chlorine.

Please consider replacing the filter with a new one even if the Filter Life

Indicator is not indicating the replacement timing ( ), in the event

of the following abnormal conditions.

> Noticeable decrease in water outflow from the unit or a strange smell from outlet water.

This could indicate that the filter is clogged due to a higher than expected level of pollutants.

> When there is a noticeable change in water.

> When the unit has not been used for a substantial amount of time (i.e. 6 months). Idle filters with

trapped contaminants can encourage bacterial growth, Ensure regular usage to prevent this situation,

* A filter life length can be changed according to the source water quality and unit operation condition.

Always use the producer's authentically approved filter for the unit.

> The unit has the function of self-check of the integrated system before any operation starts,

> Alkaline ionized water is not generated even if output water comes out,

> Warranty will VOID due to user s misuse or carelessness. The manufacturer can not guarantee the units correct

operation if the user chooses to use a non authorized internal filter.
