General Information
The PortaFeed/Stealth VS 212 wire feeder features an
easily changeable MIG gun cartridge system. There are
five different cartridges available as illustrated below.
These installation instructions apply to all of them.
Recommended Tools
(Note: wrench and socket sizes may vary.)
• 5mm allen wrench
• medium philips screwdriver
• needle nose pliers

in this kit:

VS 212 / Stealth MIG Cartridge Removal
1. Remove (2) bolts at the front of the cartridge.

2. Loosen cartridge retention bolt.

3. Remove gun retention screw.

4. Remove PCB protection cover.
CAUTION
Be sure that the wirefeeder is completely disconnected from the power supply before proceeding. Wire
should be removed from the feedrolls as well. Consult the wirefeeder's Operator Manual for details.
