damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the

15. Grounding or Polarization – This product may be equipped with a polarized
alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug
will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to
insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit,
contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized plug.
Alternate Warnings - This product is equipped with a three-wire grounding-type plug, a
plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power
outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet,
contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the grounding-type plug.
16. Ventilation – Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these
openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by
placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should
not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper
ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.
17. The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the
disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

10 ALARM1 BUZZER Indicator
This indicator shows that the unit is set in ALARM 1 buzzer mode.
11 ALARM1 RADIO Indicator
This indicator shows that the unit is set in ALARM1 radio mode.
12 ALARM2 BUZZER Indicator
This indicator shows that the unit is set in ALARM2 buzzer mode.
13 ALARM2 RADIO Indicator
This indicator shows that the unit is set in ALARM2 radio mode.
14 PM Indicator
This indicator shows that the time display is PM
15 BATTERY Compartment
Compartment for the back-up battery.
16 DC Jack
Connect the unit to the AC-DC adaptor.
17 FM Wire Antenna
Extent this wire antenna to obtain better FM broadcasting.

CONNECTING THE UNIT TO POWER
Plug one end of the AC adaptor into the DC jack, and then plug the other end into AC wall
outlet. Before switching on the unit, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the
same as that indicated on the rating plate.
BATTERY BACKUP
Insert two (2) piece UM-4 batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Be sure to
observe the proper polarity (the "+" and "-" signs) as indicated inside the battery
compartment.
In case of power failure or interrupted AC power, the current time and alarm time settings, the
stored radio stations are preserved in the memory of the unit by means of battery back-up
function.
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the CLK/MEM button. The time will begin to
flash on the LED display.
2. Press the HOUR/ button to adjust the hour.
3. Press the MIN/ button to adjust the minute.
4. When the correct time is selected, press the CLK/MEM button again to confirm.
SETTING THE ALARMS
1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the AL1/VOL+ or the AL2/VOL− button. The
alarm time will begin to flash on the LED display.
2. Press the HOUR/ button to adjust the desired alarm hour.
3. Press the MIN/ button to adjust the desired alarm minute.
4. When the desired alarm time is selected, press the AL1//VOL+ or AL2/VOL− button to
confirm.
5. Press the AL1/VOL+ or AL2/VOL− to select the ALARM sound mode - buzzer or
currently set radio station.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
1. Whenever the alarm (radio or buzzer) comes on, it can be temporarily suspended for a
short period of 9 minutes by pressing the SNOOZE/SLEEP button once.
2. The buzzer or radio will then automatically come on again after the 9 minutes ‘Snooze’
period has ended.
3. This procedure can be repeated for up to approximately one hour.
LISTENING TO THE FM RADIO
1. Press the /SOURCE/AL.OFF button to select AM or FM band..
2. Press the HOUR/ or MIN/ button step by step to tune to the desired radio stations.
3. Press and hold the HOUR/ or MIN/ button for approx. 1 second, it will start to
search the next radio station in the direction of the search. The search operation simply
finds stations with strong signals. Stations with weak reception can only be tuned in
manually.
SAVING A RADIO STATION TO THE MEMORY
1. Tune to the desired radio station.
2. Press the CLK/MEM button for approx. 2 second, the LED display will show P01 and
flash, you can press the HOUR/ or MIN/ key for desire channel and then press
CLK/MEM button to confirm.
3. Up to 10 FM & 10 AM radio stations can be stored in the memory.
TO LISTEN TO A SAVED RADIO STATION
Press the CLK/MEM button to skip to the next stored radio station.
SLEEP TO MUSIC FUNCTION
1. This function allows you to listen to the radio while you fall asleep.
2. Press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button, the display will show the default sleep time of 90
minutes
3. Press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button again to select the desired sleep time, when the
desired SLEEP time is reached, stop pressing the SNOOZE/SLEEP button, the sleep
time will store in the memory after few seconds..
4. The options are 90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-10-min. or OFF
5. Now you can enjoy listening to the radio for the pre-set period of sleep time.
6. After this pre-set time has elapsed, the unit will switch off automatically.
TURN OFF THE RADIO
Press and hold the /SOURCE/AL.OFF button for approximate 1 second, the radio will turn
off.

15. Mise à la terre ou polarisation - Ce produit peut être équipé d'une prise de courant
alternatif polarisée (une fiche ayant une lame plus large que l'autre). Cette fiche ne
s'insère dans la prise de courant que dans un sens. Il s'agit d'un dispositif de sécurité.
Si vous n'arrivez pas à insérer complètement la fiche dans la prise, inversez la fiche. Si

16. Autres avertissements - Ce produit est équipé d'une fiche à trois broches appelée
« mise à la terre ». Cette fiche peut seulement s'insérer dans une prise de courant
mise à la terre. Il s'agit d'un dispositif de sécurité. Si vous ne parvenez pas à insérer la
fiche dans la prise, contactez votre électricien pour remplacer la prise obsolète. Ne
détruisez pas la sécurité de la prise de terre.

BRANCHEMENT DE L'APPAREIL À L'ADAPTATEUR CA/CC.
Branchez une extrémité de l'adaptateur CA/CC dans la prise d'alimentation CC de l'appareil
et l'autre extrémité dans la prise murale. Avant d'allumer l'appareil, assurez-vous que la
tension d'alimentation électrique soit identique à ce qu'indique la plaque signalétique.
SAUVEGARDE PAR PILES
Insérez deux piles UM-4 dans le compartiment de piles. Respectez la polarité des piles (les
signes « + » ET « – ») indiqué à l'intérieur du compartiment de piles.
En cas de panne de courant ou d'interruption de l'alimentation secteur, ces piles permettent
de conserver l'heure, le réglage de l'alarme, les stations de radio mémorisées dans la
mémoire de l'appareil.
RÉGLAGE DE L'HORLOGE
1. Quand l’appareil est éteint, appuyer et maintenir le bouton SOURCE/AL.OFF. L’heure
commence à clignoter sur l’écran d’affichage.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton HOUR / pour régler l'heure.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MIN / pour régler les minutes.
4. Lorsque l'heure exacte est affichée, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton CLK/MEM pour
confirmer.
RÉGLAGE DES ALARMES
1. Quand l’appareil est éteint, appuyer et maintenir le bouton VOL+/AL1 ou VOL−/AL2.
L’heure de l’alarme commence à clignoter sur l’écran d’affichage.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton HOUR / pour régler l'heure de l'alarme.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MIN / pour régler les minutes de l'alarme.
4. L'appareil étant en mode VEILLE, appuyez sur le bouton VOL+/AL1 ou VOL−/AL2 pour
confirmer.
5. Appuyez sur le bouton VOL+/AL1 ou VOL−/AL2 pour sélectionner le mode de signal
sonore de l'alarme – sonnerie ou station de radio actuelle. Le témoin de sonnerie ou de
radio s'allume alors.
FONCTION DE RÉPÉTITION D'ALARME
1. Lorsque l'alarme se déclenche (radio ou sonnerie), il est possible de la suspendre
temporairement pendant une courte période d'environ 9 minutes en appuyant une fois
sur le bouton SNOOZE/SLEEP.
2. La sonnerie ou la radio se déclenche alors de nouveau automatiquement environ 9
minutes plus tard, à la fin de la période de répétition.
3. Cette action peut être répétée pendant environ une heure.
ARRÊTER L'ALARME
Lorsque l'alarme se déclenche, appuyez sur le bouton SOURCE/AL. OFF pour arrêter
l'alarme.
ÉCOUTE DE LA RADIO
1. Appuyez sur la touche /SOURCE/AL.OFF pour sélectionner la bande AM ou FM
2. Appuyez sur le bouton HOUR / or MIN / plusieurs fois pour rechercher la station
de radio voulue.
3. Maintenez enfoncé le bouton HOUR / or MIN / pendant 2 secondes environ ;
l'appareil commence à rechercher la station de radio suivante dans le sens de la
recherche. L'opération de recherche ne trouve que les stations de radio dont le signal
est fort. Les stations dont le signal est faible ne peuvent être captées que
manuellement.
ANTENNE
Pour améliorer la réception FM déployez complètement l'antenne filaire FM externe.
MÉMORISATION D'UNE STATION DE RADIO
1. Réglez la radio sur la station voulue.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton CLK/MEM pendant 2 secondes environ, l'afficheur à DEL affiche
P01 et clignote ; vous pouvez appuyer sur la touche HOUR / ou MIN / pour la
station voulue, puis appuyer sur le bouton CLK/MEM pour confirmer.
3. Vous pouvez mémoriser jusqu'à 10 stations de FM radio et 10 stations de AM radio.
POUR ÉCOUTER UNE STATION DE RADIO MÉMORISÉE
1. Pour allumer la radio, appuyez sur le bouton /SOURCE/AL.OFF.
2. Appuyer sur le bouton MEM/CLOCK pour sélectionner le numéro de la station
mémorisée.
FONCTION SOMMEIL EN MUSIQUE
1. Cette fonction permet d'écouter la radio pendant que vous vous endormez.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton SNOOZE/SLEEP ; l'afficheur indique le délai par défaut de 90
minutes avant le sommeil.
3. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton SNOOZE/SLEEP pour régler le délai souhaité.
4. Les options sont 90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-10 minutes ou OFF
5. Vous pouvez maintenant profiter de la radio pendant la durée pré-réglée avant le
sommeil.
6. À la fin de ce délai, l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement.
