7. CLEANING – Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use

liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with a dry cloth.

8. WATER AND MOISTURE – Do not use this apparatus near water –

The appliance should not be used near water or moisture—for example, in a wet

basement or near a swimming pool, and the like.

9. INSTALLATION – Do not block any ventilation opening. Install in accordance with

the manufacturer’s instructions. Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for

ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from

overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings

should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other

similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as

a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s

instructions have been adhered to. Do not install near any heat sources such

10. POWER SOURCES – This product should be operated only from the type of

power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type

of power supply to your property, consult your product dealer or local power

company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources,

refer to operating instructions.

11. POLARIZATION – This product is equipped with a polarized alternating current

line plug. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized plug

has two blades with one wider than the other. The wide blade is provided for your

safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for

replacement of the obsolete outlet.

12. POWER-CORD PROTECTION – Protect the power cord from being walked on or

pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where

they exit from the apparatus.

13. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY – Never push objects of any kind into this product

through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts

that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on this

product.

14. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE – Unplug this product from the wall outlet.

Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the

apparatus has been damaged in any such way as the following conditions:

• When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.

• If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus.

• If the apparatus has been exposed to rain or water.

• If the apparatus does not operate normally by following the operating

instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating

instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage

Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided

with a polarized plug (one wide blade) to reduce the risk of electric

shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not

defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any

way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the

outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician

replace the outlet.

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to

reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a

PM Indicator

This clock radio features an optional battery back-up to

retain the correct time setting in the event of a power

failure or when disconnected temporarily from an outlet.

Clock display will not be lit and the radio/alarm functions

will not operate while power is interrupted; however, time

and alarm settings will be maintained in memory. Once

power is restored, display will show correct time and radio

and alarm functions will operate normally.

To prevent leakage and possible damage to unit, batteries

should be replaced when they no longer retain the time

during a power failure (clock display will flash to indicate

that the time needs to be reset).

Remove battery cover on bottom of clock radio.

Place two fresh AA batteries (not included) inside the

battery compartment.

Replace battery cover and set time as described in

“Setting the Time.”

Battery Back-Up

SETTING THE TIME

Display will flash until clock has been set.

1. The time “12:00” will start flashing when the unit is first

plugged into the outlet.

2. Press and hold (at least 2 seconds) the TIME/MEMORY button

to enter the time adjustment mode during clock mode, and

the time “HH:MM” will flash on the display.

3. Press the HOUR/

TUNE–

button to increase the hour display.

Release when desired hour is showing. Press the MIN/

TUNE+

button to increase the minute display. Release when

desired minutes are showing. Wait 4 seconds (4 flashes) or

press the TIME/MEMORY button to confirm the set time.

NOTE: Once the time stops flashing, repeat Steps 2 and 3 to

reset the time.

PLAYING THE RADIO

Plug the power cord into a standard 120VAC electrical outlet.

2. Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to switch to the radio mode.

3. Press the AM/FM button to select the AM or FM feature.

4. Press the AL SET/ and AL OFF/ buttons to adjust the

volume level.

5. Press the HOUR/

TUNE–

and/or MIN/

TUNE+

buttons to

adjust the AM/FM frequencies manually with the intervals

10KHz/0.1MHz. Or, press and hold (at least 2 seconds) the

HOUR/

TUNE–

and MIN/

TUNE+

buttons to search and stay on

the next radio station automatically.

6. To turn off the radio, just press the RADIO ON/OFF button

once more to switch to clock mode.

SETTING THE ALARM

Once desired station and volume level are set:

1. Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to switch to clock mode.

2. To set alarm time, hold down the AL SET/ button for

2 seconds until “12:00” or the previously set alarm time is

flashing. Press the HOUR/TUNE– and/or MIN/TUNE+ buttons

to set the desired alarm time. Wait 4 seconds (4 flashes) or

press the AL SET/ button once more. The “ ” indicator

will turn on. That means the buzzer alarm is set for the

preset time.

3. To change the alarm to wake to the radio, tap on the

AL SET/ button once and the “ ” indicator will turn on.

That means the radio alarm is set for the preset time.

4. To turn alarm off, press the AL OFF/ button at any time. All

alarm function is turned off, and the “ ” and “ ” indicators

will disappear.

5. When the alarm turns on, the “ ” or “ ” indicator will flash.

You can press the AL OFF/ button to stop the alarm. The

“ ” or “ ” indicator will turn off.

NOTES:

• If there is nothing operating when the alarm is on, the alarm

will turn off after 1 hour. After the alarm turns off, the alarm

is not available for the next day. You need to reset the alarm

clock.

• “ ” alarm should be the last station when the radio was

shut off.

USING THE SNOOZE ALARM

1. When the alarm turns on, the “ ” or “ ” indicator will

flash. Press the

SNOOZE/SLEEP

button to stop the alarm

temporarily, with the “ ” or “ ” indicator continually

flashing. The alarm will sound again 9 minutes later.

2. To cancel the snooze function, just press the AL OFF/

button. This will also turn off the alarm.

NOTE: The snooze alarm can only be used for 6 continuous

times.

SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER

1. Press the

SNOOZE/SLEEP

button during radio mode. The

display will show 90, then 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, and 10

minutes. The clock radio will turn off after the number of

minutes you set.

2. If you want to change the number of sleep minutes,

repeatedly press the

SNOOZE/SLEEP

button until the number

of minutes you want appears in the display.

3. To turn off the sleep timer, repeatedly press the

SNOOZE/

button until “OFF” appears in the display.

PRESET RADIO STATION

If the batteries were installed correctly, you can store the

tuning frequency of 20 radio stations in the memory, 10 for

each of the AM and FM waveband ranges, by following these

steps:

1. Search for and stay on one desired AM/FM radio station.

2. Press and hold (at least 2 seconds) the TIME/MEMORY button.

“P 01” or “P--” (previous setting) will flash on the display.

3. Press the HOUR/

TUNE–

or MIN/

TUNE+

button to select the

preset station from P01 to P10.

4. Press the TIME/MEMORY button again before the display of

your chosen preset station “P--” stops flashing. The tuning

frequency will be stored as the corresponding “P--.”

5. Follow steps 1–4 above to store desired stations as P01–P10.

6. If you want to play a preset station, just press the TIME/

MEMORY button during radio mode to select the preset

station P01–P10 that you want to listen to.

NOTE: If the TIME/MEMORY button is not pressed while the

display “P--“ flashes 4 seconds (4 flashes) before stopping, the

station frequency has not been saved successfully into memory.

Unplug clock radio and wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

Do not leave clock radio in direct sunlight, or in hot, dusty,

or humid areas. Avoid placing near heating vents or

heating appliances.

Fluorescent lamps and other electrical appliances may

cause radio interference or static. If this occurs, move unit

away from the source of interference.

Care and Cleaning

You can adjust the intensity of the LED light display. Press and

adjust the brightness of the LED display.
