~Always remove used batteries from the device imme-
diately, since these may leak and therefore cause
damage.
~Remove the batteries from the device if you intend not
to use it for an extended period of time. The batteries
may leak and damage the device.
~Only use batteries of the same brand and the same
type, and never combine used and new batteries with
one another.
~Always replace all batteries at the same time.
~Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not subject
batteries to extreme conditions, place them on radia-
tors or expose them to direct sunlight. Otherwise,
there is an increased danger of batteries leaking.
~If battery acid has leaked, avoid contact with the skin,
eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with
the acid, rinse the affected area at once with plenty of
clean water and seek medical assistance immediately.
~During normal use, batteries should not reach extreme
temperatures that could cause burns. In order to mini-
mize the possibility of burns, batteries should not be
touched immediately after use.
~Dispose of batteries in accordance with the manufac-
turer’s recommendations and the statutory regula-
tions.
