These graceful, bulbous, perennial irises grow elegant flowers
that bloom atop grass-like foliage. They are easy to grow,
and, if zone appropriate, are great for naturalizing.

About This Variety: Eyecatcher Irises are a catch if you can get a hold of them. They are somewhat rare and
not so commercially grown. Being of the dwarf type it’s a good choice for under plantings. Its petals are heavily
patterned with white, blue and yellow. Some would say that they are a work of art.
Growing Instructions: Choose a site that has reasonably fertile soil and plenty of moisture that won’t dry out in
summer. Good drainage and a sheltered location will help them survive the winter.
Care Tip: Plant about 30 bulbs per square foot. Zone 5 gardeners should add a 2” layer of mulch in fall. Best
planted in large numbers.
Exposure: Full Sun to Partial Shade
Height: Grows 2-4” tall
Spacing: Plant 3” apart, 4” deep
USDA Zones: hardy in USDA zones 5-8
