Características
Haz compatibles tus radios Steren con radios de otras marcas como
Motorola o Kenwood, con ayuda de este cable y confi gura las frecuencias
que desees en cada canal, para obtener mayor privacidad y seguridad

software incluido, realiza la programación que necesites.

Instrucciones
1. Ingrese a nuestra página de internet www.steren.com y busque el
software para RAD-602.
2. Descárguelo, instálelo y siga las instrucciones que aparecen en pantalla.
3. Para concluir la instalación presione Finish. En el escritorio se creará un
acceso directo al programa.

4. Inicie el programa
5. En el menú principal, dé clic en Model y active Select Model.
6. Elija el modelo del radio RAD-610 y la Banda 400 -470 (U).
7. Guarde los cambios con OK.
Conexión
1. Conecte el radio a la PC mediante el cable USB, y enciéndalo.

1. Dé clic en R para acceder a la información contenida en el radio.
Inmediatamente aparecerá una ventana con una contraseña predefi nida
(123456).
2. Seleccione OK para continuar.
La pantalla del radio se iluminará y aparecerá el mensaje: PC.
Recibir información del radio
3. Una vez concluida la transferencia cierre la ventana.

Enviar información al radio
1. Una vez que tenga acceso a la información del radio, realice las
modifi caciones necesarias.
2. Dé clic en para guardar los cambios.
3. Dé clic en W para enviar la información actualizada.
4. Confi rme con OK.
5. Terminadas las modifi caciones apague el radio, desconéctelo, y salga
del programa.

Contraseña
1. Si requiere cambiar la contraseña, seleccione la opción Program y elija
Change Password.
2. Ingrese la contraseña predefi nida 123456 e ingrese la nueva contraseña,
confi rme con OK

Información del canal
Channel o NO: Canal que va a ser modifi cado.
RX Frequency: Frecuencia de recepción.
TX Frequency: Frecuencia de transmisión.
QT/DQT Dec: Decodifi cador QT/DQT.
DQ/DQT Enc: Codifi cador QT/DQT. El radio sólo se podrá comunicar con
radios que tengan la misma confi guración QT/DQT.
BCL: Si activa esta función, el radio no transmitirá si el canal está ocupado,
sólo se enviará la señal cuando no haya otro radio en uso en el mismo canal.
Beat shift: Elimina la interferencia causada por el CPU del radio.
Scan Add: Seleccione si el canal aparecerá en la función de búsqueda o no.
TX power: Potencia de la frecuencia de transmisión .
Bandwidth: Selecciona el ancho de banda (Wide-amplia o Narrow-corta).

Highlights
Change the frequency of your Steren radio, to be compatible with radios
such as Motorola or Kenwood, with this cable. Set the frequencies of each

Installation
1. Enter to www.steren.com and search the RAD-602 software.
2. Download, install and follow the instructions.
3. To complete the installation, press Finish. In the desktop appears an
direct access.

4. Run the software.
5. In the main menu, click on Model and choose Select Model.
6. Choose the radio model (RAD-610) and the 400-470 (U) Band.
7. Click OK to save changes.
Connection
1. Connect the radio to the PC by USB cable, and turn it on.

2. In the main menu click in Option and choose the assigned communica-
tion port.

1. Click on R to access to the contained info in the radio.
Enter the default password (123456).
2. Select OK to continue.
The screen of the radio lights and appears the message: PC.
Receiving info from the radio
3. Once fi nalized the transfer, close the window.

Sending info to the radio
1. Once that you have access to the radio info, make the necessary modi-
fi cations.
2. Click in to save changes.
3. Click in W to send the updated info.
4. Click OK to confi rm.
5. Finishing the modifi cations, turn off the radio, disconnect it, and close
the program.

Password
1. If you require to change the password, select the option Program and
choose Change Password.
2. Enter the default password 123456 and enter the new password, confi rm
with OK

Channel information
Channel or NO: The modifi ed channel.
RX Frequency: Reception frequency.
TX Frequency: Transmission frequency.
QT/DQT Dec: QT/DQT decoder.
DQ/DQT Enc: QT/DQT encoder. The radio can only communicate with radios
that have the same QT/DQT confi guration.
BCL: If activated, the radio will not transmit if the channel is occupied, the
signal is sent only when other radio is not in use in the same channel
Beat shift: Eliminates interference from the radio´s CPU.
Scan Add: Select whether the channel will appear in the search function or not.
TX power: Transmission frequency power.
Bandwidth: Select to set the bandwidth (Wide or Narrow).
