Toyota Land Cruiser provides enhanced security for your vehicle by detecting the noise of tapping or breaking glass. It triggers various alarms to deter theft and protect your vehicle.

  • Glass Breakage Sensor: Listens for the distinct sound of glass being tapped or broken, triggering alarms to scare away potential intruders.
  • Warn-Away Alarm: Upon initial detection of glass breakage, it sounds a warning alarm for 15 seconds, followed by a 30-second pause. If the noise occurs again or a door/trunk is forcibly opened, it triggers the regular alarm.
  • Regular Alarm: Activates a full-blown alarm with flashing lights and horn honking for 30 seconds, then switches to a warning alarm cycle.

The G.B.S. (GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR) provides protection for your vehicle above and beyond the entry
point monitoring performed by the TDS (Theft Deterrent System)—it “listens” for the noise made by tapping on,
or breaking of glass, and triggers alarms upon detection of these types of noise. Using a microphone designed
