Configure Cellular as a Backup
Login to Web User Interface
Connect a computer and the NL1901ACV using an Ethernet cable. (A yellow Ethernet cable was provided with your
NL1901ACV).
1 Open a web browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), type following address into the address
bar and press
Enter.

2 Enter the following credentials in the
User Name and Password fields:
User Name:
admin
Password: The serial number found on the label on the back of the device
3 Click the
Login button.
Note
If no authentication prompt is displayed or you see a request time out message, refer to the What if I cannot access Web User
Interface guide from FAQs section.

Check Cellular Network Status
1 Inset SIM card and turn theNL1901ACV ON.
2 Click
Device Info from the left-hand side menu and then click Summary.
3 Scroll down to the
Device Info for Cellular Network section:
4 Refer to the dynamic graphic to check status of
Signal Strength:
Three and above bars should be green for good coverage.
The LTE Signal LED lights in front of the modem should also be lit.

Setup
Configure mobile broadband as a backup while configuring primary ADSL, VDSL or Ethernet WAN connection from
the Basic Setup.
1 Click Basic Setup from the left-hand side menu and then select ADSL, VDSL or Ethernet WAN.
2 While configuring any one of ADSL, VDSL or Ethernet WAN, select E
nable Mobile Broadband Backup.
a If necessary, enter
APN, Username and Password.
Connection Status
After configuration the Internet Light in front of the modem should be lit up.
Note that the LTE light will turn OFF and cellular connection remains disconnected.
The cellular connection will become active automatically only if the primary connection is unavailable. If primary
connection is unavailable, the LTE led light will light up automatically along with Internet light.
Navigate to Device Info > Summary and scroll down to the Device Info for Cellular network section at the bottom
of the page.
The status of the Link becomes Connected.
Once the primary connection becomes available, the cellular connection is disconnected, and LTE light turn OFF.
